Halloween - R I saw both the workprint, and the theatrical release. First off, let me just say that I thoroughly believe this film was much better than any episode in the franchise since Halloween 2, and thats saying a lot, since I like 4,5, and MAYBE 6. Anyway, Rob Zombie did a good job with the lighting, the colours of the night, the mask, Dr. Loomis, and the Smith's Grove part.

There were a few small things I didnt like. They were too small to comment on, really, but threw me out of the film numerous times still.

Anyway, I recommend the original one over this any day of the week, but its always fun to delve into the Myers character to just see more of it.

It was NOT scary, but intense at parts. It was just very entertaining.
