LANDO'S NOT A SYSTEM, HE'S A MAN!........................................................... It's a hard, always changing call at the moment, but EMPIRE is still the best of the bunch. It used to be because it's the darkest, most left open of the Trilogy, with everything you knew blow apart by the empire, but with the new movies changing alot of the perceptions around i'd say it's still the best because it has elements of all the best parts of the other 5 movies. It has the forboding darkness of SITH, the dramtic weight of JEDI, the action of CLONES, the sith coolness of MENACE, and the character of NEW HOPE, but beyond that it takes all of these elements and provideS a movie that never fails to WOW the shIt out of ya! (oh and BOBA FETT!) Empire brings you to the point in the SAGA where you begin to reassess how it's all going to pan out? you now understand VADER's motivation toward palpatine and Luke's "NEW HOPE for anakin. Luke becomes part of the mythology of the Jedi and shows Yoda what the ultimate jedi SHOULD be and essentially becomes self reliant and Han just kicks serious ass in this one! Now the movies are 6 and not 3 Empire has more weight that ever, now you know what makes anakin tick, Episode 5 becomes the movie that makes you begin to see how the SAGA comes full circle and add's more drama to JEDI. ............................................................... "..AND SO IT IS"................................................. What a way to go out! EVERYTHING about Episode 3 is PERFECT. To start with it has hands down the greatest opening sequence of ALL TIME, thos eships could twirl for hours, it's amazing!. Hayden deleivers a performance of legend as we see Anakin fall to the dark side. We finally see how Palpatine uses his control and the reveal of how Anakin decends was worth the year s of discussion. Ewan also provide the perfect emotional punch to the faliure obi-wan feels and it makes you feel even more for the obi wan we know in Episodes 4-6. Seeing Palpatine in Evil's purest form is absolute class as well and order 66 is like having a punch to the stomach. So beautifully played out and with some of the best set pieces in the SAGA so for .................................. "YOUR OVER-CONFIDENCE IS YOUR WEAKNESS" ............................................................ JEDI just rocks - plain and simple. Luke becomes the best character of the SAGA with the black costume and the Green saber. His entrance in this movie is insanly cool and it adds so much weight to the notion he could go SITH like his father. The last 40 minutes is just plain amazing with the space battle screaming outside the death star, and the final VADER/LUKE duel in full effect with ol' Palpatine cackilin on the side lines and to top that off the endor battle with the ewoks is great fun too! A great ending to the SAGA, even is the actual score at the end needs a little more oomph, but the actual events are spot on. ................................................................ "I'M TAKING HIM NOW!"............................................ Attack of the clones is awesome. Our introduction to an older anakin skywalker proves to be a great one. Hayden is a brilliant skywalker and his ability to play alot of the brooding and conflicting thoughts he has under the surface is spot on.
I find this Wars movie is a little different to the rest in how it's paced and structured - it's not breaking the star wars boundaries or anything - but it's a lot more action based and it kicks ass because of it. The closing scene from the geonasian arena up until the wedding is classic action, classic duels and basically classic STAR WARS, yoda's 1st sabre light up has never and will NEVER be anything less than ultimate cool and the introduction of the troopers just reminds you how much you loved the troopers as a kid. TROOPERS KICK ASS!
Natlaie portman is great as padme in this one- loads of fun to be had with her in the areana and ewan just takes another step to becoming more like the obi wan we know and provide my favorite obi wan moment (when he takes out the ackerlay- WHAT A DUDE!). Dooku hits hard and become the most intriging sith apprentice yet and we get to meet dexta jetster and poggle the lesser! who could ask for anything more!

"LOSS OF COMMUNICATION CAN MEAN ONLY ONE THING....INVASION" ......................................................... I don't get peoples overall dismissal of the phantom menace AT ALL.
YES I'm a Star wars fan, YES i'm one of these rare breed that acknowledge all 6 movies as a complete set and don't feel the need to end the sentence "i like the star wars movies" with the, what seems compulsory "but only the 1st 3"
I DIG MENACE, IT KICKS ASS and here's why.
I think Menace shows the star wars universe when it was just about perfect in regards to the overall story. the universe was releativly at peace and there was no issues. The jedi, though kinda diffrent to how we all saw the jedi's as children, basically they were pretty redundant and there greatness is kind of a myth rather than a fact.
Then enters the "PHANTOM MENACE" The key to taking this normal set up and turning it into a star wars movie and the whole movie becomes how his evil deeds are slowly bleeding into galaxy and how it effects it all.
Qui gonn and obi wan are great in this, the 1st time you see them do a jedi's work is still incredible. The skills with the sabre's and taking out the droids on the trade federation ship is just epic. The destroyer droids, the lightsabers, qui gonn whacking one through a door, just insanly exciting stuff!
The new worlds we get to see, the new characters, i'll admit it took me a good 20-40 minutes to actually click into being in a NEW star wars movie for after so long to being so used to only having 3, but the pace at which phantom menace moves and the amount of information to take in within the first 20-30 minutes comes at you thick and fast, but once i caught up, i adored it all.
You get maul who is just BAD ASS, he just adds a great element to the star wars universe - no angles, no back story, a mystery and pure sith. Andi will state here and now, his entrance on naboo is still probably the finest most exciting entrance in movie history! It's almost a shame he was not around in Ep3 because he would be reveling in the victory as much as Palpatine and maybe he would have broken his slience and gone with an "IN YOUR FACE" o the jedi hehe
The duel with the jedi's and maul is still one of the best. So well staged and just so much fun. There are too many moments of sheer COOL to list.
And on to jar jar. i will say now - WHAT'S PEOPLE F**KING PROBLEM- JEEEEESUS!! If jar jar character was anakin - i'd get the backlash - but he's comic relief for christ sake - and he's awesome. His dialogue is superb and he adds something to it all and i'd miss him if he was'nt there.
Also technically speaking, i'd say menace has probably the best overall soundmix out of the star wars movies too, the sheer range in effects and the use of the score really make you feel you're in the Star wars galaxy again and throw the pod race in there as well and it's all so damn impressive
Also out of all the new trilogy, phantom comes with the best memories....the entire build up from the announcement that there would be a new Star wars movie, the amazing teaser poster, through the greatest sets of trailers ever, the new characters to meet, the old ones to rediscover, right through to the ticket buying, the relief that it was all still great desite the critical attacks and the multiple viewings...it all just makes the feelig of it all so much more that most movies around.
Basically after having MENACE around since 99 i have to say the more i watch it the better it gets - i loved it then and i love it more now.
Phantom Menace is the perfect introduction to the star wars galaxy and sets up all the players ready for the saga to really start unravelling. ........................................................... "AT LAST WE WILL REVEAL OURSELVES TO THE JEDI, AT LAST WE WILL HAVE REVENGE"

"YOU HAVE ABSOLUTE POWER...YEESSSSSS" ................................................................... SPEILBERG IS GREAT. BUT HE HAS NEVER BEEN AS GOOD AS HE IS WITH E.T
E.T is timeless, E.T is CLASSIC, E.T is magic. Speilberg'd finest masterpiece! with E.T he somehow managed to go beyond mere classic status and provides MAGIC, WONDER, PURE DELIGHT and basically PERFECTION.
With E.T 'berg basically shows what most, if not all film makers long for...you believe every thing the movie is saying. you feel the characters, you know exactly what there feelings are and you live the movie with them. It'd power works with it's simplicity and for me there is not a director ever who has acheived so much in one movie.
Every single frame of E.T is perfect, every line, every beautifully played out moment. EVERYTHING.
Everytime i see it it's like seeing it for the 1st time and every diffrent time in my life i've seen it i take something else from it. From childhood wonderment, to just wanting the real world to be as good as it. Everytime if you focus on a diffrent character you begin to understand just how much of a masterstroke this movie actually is
E.T is one of those rare and beautiful movies that just trancend being a movie...it's lasting, it has the greatest score of all time and quite frankly i can't think of many movies that are as perfect ............................................................................................................................................... "YOU MADE A TIME MACHINE OUT OF A DELOEREAN"............................. there are few things in the histroy of movies as good as the back to the future trilogy! The characters of Marty Mcfly and Doc are movie GODS and the deleorean is the chrariot in which they will provide perfection! Ok i may be going a little over the top but the back to the future movies are sacred, they have some of the best screenplays, characters and memeorable moments in the movie history. The overall story is a masterpiece in movie making, pretty much every line of dialogue is memeorable and there are very few movies better than these. The 1st one is my personal favorite (and this takes nothing away from the later two - they also kick ass) Marty's adventure in 1955 is superb, michael j fox makes you love the character as he trys to get back to 1985 and doc is his perfect counter balance, they are definatly contender for the greatest movie duo's ever! As you can probably tell from this gushing review i adore these movies and quite frankly can't get enough of them............................................................................................................. "I'm back from the future" ............................................................ Back when i first saw this movie i was floored. Absolutly freakin flawed. Zemeckis just delivered the what seemed like the perfect sequel.
While ino longer think this is better than the first Mcfly/Brown outing, I still adore the second movie in one of those franchises that makes me giddy with enjoyment. I love where this goes, and whiel it isn't as tight as the previous one it more than makes up for it in sheer entertainment value.
It just has so much going on. You go forward, there's like three threadshappening there, then it's back to alternative 1985 which is just an insane bast, then it's back to '55 which in itself if genius and then on the ciffhanger you realise this is one long elobrate set up for movie three. Which just gets you even more excited.
Fox and Lloyd are just having so much fun here. Te characters are so ridiculously good and you just want to be on the adventure with them. You buy into so much of this out there premise because of them and they are just great, great characters.
This was when Zemeckis stepped over to making movies that revolved around a progression in film tech. He always entertains, but serious, think about it, from here on in all of his movies had some element of experimentation to them and mostly at the forfront of the advertising of the movie. I'm not complaining. The man backs it up with what he deleivers in a movie and quite frankly if the man only makde 1/5 ,ovies for the rest of his life (which he ain't doing at all) h still made the back t the future trilogy (amongst other things) and frankly, what more can you ask for.
A trilogy that sits snuggly in my TOP 5 movies of all time and the repeat viewing just get better and better.
(p.s Elizabeth Shue is freakin terrible in this movie. It' liek she's acting in a slient movie most of the time, thank fuck they had the good sense to leave her on that porch) ....................................................... "I foresee two possibilities. One, coming face to face with herself 30 years older would put her into shock and she would simply pass out. Or two, the encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could start a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to our own galaxy."

"Marty, you're not thinking fourth dimensionally! " ....................................................... Genuinly a movie that i keep falling in love with the more i watch it.
What a way to end a trilogy. Zemeckis makes the brave move of finishing in totally unfamiliar surroundings (mostly) with a change of pace and focusing on the other character in the greatest duo of all time.
As a kid seeing this i probably didn't appriciate how brave a move that was but he totaly pulls it off with ease.
Having Doc front and centre is great. it really rounds off his character as they'd done to Marty in one and two. Doc in love is a blast, Doc in turmoil about what to do next is even better. The last chapter is what now is the best trilogy ever (Star wars being six now ya see) is just a joy, a pure warm hug of a movie that just solidifies my love for what was already a great franchise ................................................. "I'M EASY TO FORGET, I'M ONLY THE LEAD SINGER" .......................................................... ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! ..............just a beautiful movie to watch over and over again, it makes you love movies again, it makes you love music again and every member of the cast are just incredible. Kudos especially to crudup, the man's a legend in this. and of course jason lee "i'm easy to forget, i'm only the lead singer!!" the man can't help but deliver classic lines!!! cameron crowe's finist work thus far in a great catalogue of top notch movies! ................................................................................... "This is an art gallery my friend, and this is apiece of art" ............................................. There's 5/5 movies (See my list). There are PERFECT MOVIES (few and far between) there are movie I love to death. Unbreakable is all of the above and more. My admiration for this movie is off the charts. An absolute Masterpeice and everytime i see it, it just hits me square n the face with it's greatness.
M Night has just totaly got the "superhero" thing right. It's hard to believe it doesn't get more raise in that field. However much i love Batman or spidey or anything in that area, this is the movie that gets it right. David Dunn is the finest example of a hero in the finest example of how to portray a modern view of an age old premise.
The subtlness in M Nights work here is astounding. he gets a lot of flack fr being "Slow" and "drawn out" but there performances and the feeling he gets out of all his wrok is a skill most directors of late don't even have the first clue about.
He draws you in, he sets up the odds, he involves you in the descions and discoveries his characters make and quite frankly Unbreakable is a masterclass in everything i adore about movies.
outside of all this i'm torn. I want a sequel of what came next, but don't want it at the same time. We don't need it, but goddamn i think i want it.
A seminal piece of work and a movie i just can't help but adore. M Night i salute you. ............................ "Go to where people are"

"ALL MY LIFE I WANTED TO BE A GANGSTER"........................... Now if movies come any closer to perfect than goodfellas i'd like to hear about it. Every single , frame, dialogue and set piece is perfecly handled and every single cast member provides incredibly performance. Gangster movies have been made before and since, but there something about Goodfellas that just rise above them all. This is definatly one of my most watched movies and it's just one of those movies you can never get tired of. Goodfellas kicks serious ass.................................................. "YOUR ASS GOES DOWN IN THE 5TH".......................... Tarantino kicks freakin ass! Pulp fiction is a classic in every sense of the word, not a frame of film is throw away or wasted here, every moment has the greatest and coolest dialogue you are ever likely to hear, it's like listening to an great album or something, the dialogue is so memeorable and the beats of it all just stick. with you. The actual soundtrack is also a master stroke - QT just seems to be able to add something diffrent to his movies that no one else gets anywhere near. The ensemble cast of JT, sam jackson, uma, bruce, and everyone who gets inbetween is just a incredible to watch, each one of these unbeleiveable well written characters fit perfectly in to this universe QT has created and you want to go live there with them! Movies don't come much better than this, it truelly is a one in a million! I was lucky enough to see res dogs and pulp fiction in the same night the 1st time i saw them and you just come out knoowing you had seen two of the greatest movies ever made! .......................... "AND THEY TURN OUT TO BE THE MOST DELIGHTFUL PEOPLE YOU WILL EVER MEET IN YOUR LIFE" .............................................................. I can't praise this film enough. Once in a blue moon a movie comes along that just stays with you. Everything about this is beautiful, the music, the people, the atmosphere and of course Japan. Sophia hit the ball clear out of the park with this one, hell i don't think anyone will even find that ball!! Bill murray just shines in it, he's funny charming and a full rounded character, scarlett is the same and you can't help but love them both. In regards to other people opinions, you will find there is a clear line with this movie, people who hate it , write it off as a movie about a dull girl moping about being in japan in a hotel room. i am of the other half of the population, i find it very personal and very rewarding. A great movie about finding a true bond with the least expected person in the least expected place. Just having someone you can truelly communicate with. PERFECTION Definatley one of the best movies in recent years and one i will hold close to my heart for a long time to come. ........................................................................ INCREDIBLE................................................................. A movie that is so good that it up's your threshold of how you define a good movie once you've seen it. Magnolia is one of the most importnat movies of the 90's that just landed and left a mark that still echo's now. Movies like crash are wrongly compared to this masterpiece, for reasons i can't even fathom as crash does not even deserve to be mentioned in the same 24 hour period as MAGNOLIA. An incredible ensemble cast, some truellu moving perfromances all round and a soundtrack to fall in love with. Magnolia kicks ass. .................................................................................. "ONE IS THE LONIIEST NUMBER..........."

"What do you mean they cut the power?" ................................................................. The greatest sequel (outside of empire strikes back) EVER. Not only does Aliens celebrate the original classic, not only does it reinvent it but it stands alone as a freakin incredible movie. It has possibly the greatest ensemble cast ever, the entire crew are just sooooooo great, hicks, hudson, vasquez, gorman, apone, bishop, drake, spunkmire...burke and of course ripley and newt...ALL BRILLIANT
If alien made you scared of the alien, this one makes you love them, to see what they do and on such a large scale is incredble, very few directors can pull this kind of stuff off and james cameron is probably the top of that very short list. Superb plot, incredible moments, insanly great screenplay and jimmy c throwing you action in all new and exciting ways, that will be copied and attempted, but never topped for years to come.
To me this movie what makes the THE ALIEN FRANCHISE great, alien is obviously jaw droppingly classic, Alien 3 is still loving the creatures and geniunly pushing the franchise on, but this one is the one that gives you the alien, front and centre, a movie that works even though you see alot of the monster, and that is near impossible. Nasty, clever, evil b'stards that you just can't help but adore.
This movie is more than just a sequel, or a sci fi movie, Aliens is a lesson in how to make great memorable movies.......A true CLASSIC! ............................................................ "They mostly come at night...mostly"

"WE MUST GO ON, WE HAVE TO GO ON" ................................................................. Alien is incredible. The mood it sets from the 1st few scenes have you captivated. The fact you have as little an idea as to what is going on as the crew do is inspired and the fact it all goes down how it does keeps this movie timeless. I'd have to say this is my favorite ridley scott movie, i find it his most complete work to date. It almost does'nt feel like a movie in places it all unravels so perfectly. The alien is set up as just the ultimate movie monster. from face hugger to fully grown, it's all just beautifully presented and crafted, even the open handed "give me a hug" pose to dallas is class. The crew are all excellent and the ship is a character of it's own. Just beautifully made and ridiculously thrilling An incredible movie and as fresh now as it has always been and will always be. ................................................................ "She said...Everyday" ....................................... A MASTERPIECE!
The sixth sense is a beautiful movie. It has a presense that just stays with you. M Nights 1st big hit was more than enough to make him one of the most exciting directors around.
His ability to draw you into these classic characters is so impressive. Bruce willis's subtlness in so great here and hayley joel just makes you want to protect him.
But my personal nod is for toni collet, her performance overall is perfection, but the scene at the end in the car when her son tells her what's been happening is timeless and breaks my heart every time i see it, the timing, the things not said, it's all unbelievably moving.
The end is THE "classic" twist - but even now after years of knowing the outcome, and it launching a thousand terrible wannabe knock offs, it's the movie itself that makes the whole experience great. Spooky, tense, involving, wonderfully paced and just plain incredible ............................... "TELL ME THE STORY ABOUT WHY YOU'RE SAD"

SLIDE ............................................................ Pretty much perfect! brad, ed hell even meatloaf kick ass in this movie! the dialogue is brilliant the visuals are fantastic - Fincher's doing stellar work.
The more i see it the more i love Tyler Durden. Brad is having a blast here. He's selling what the character is with glee. Countering this against Ed Norton who is firing on all cylinders and frankly you have the heart and soul of what makes this movie so damn great.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU SON OF A BITCH" ...........................................................Vanilla sky just keeps getting better, the more i see it the more i love it. A sci fi movie that has no desire to be a sci fi movie, it's a movie about a man's life and the choices he has made in it, good and bad. Tom cruise is "living the dream" in it, what many would deem as the perfect life, the women, the car, the apartment, the money and the zero responsibility at work and loving every minute, but then it all changes and the story really begins to unravel. The performances all round are superb, cameron diaz is a hot psycho, jason less is the best friend everybody wants and his dialogue as per usual is more than spot on, penelope cruz is lovable and kurt russel is brilliant, especially when you realise why he is how he is. and then theres his royal cruisness, absolutely brilliant in this movie, one of his best roles thus far, totally convincing and totaly awesome, the stuff he goes through in this movie needs and expert to get it right
The last 3rd of the movie is what takes it through the roof for me, the music grabs you and takes you with it and as the story all unfolds its just becomes an emotion driven rollercoaster, the sadness in cruise's realisation of what happened in his life is just so well handled by cameron crowe, the weight of the choice he has to make expertly delievered, the dream like greatness of it all is breathtaking. vanilla sky is like listening to an album full of songs that mean alot to you, it hit's all the right beats, it runs you through all of the emotions and leaves you with something to think about...vanilla sky quite simply rocks

Signs
(2002, PG-13)
"Isabel, you are going to feel very silly when this turns out to be make-believe. " ....................................................... I love signs. Plain and simple. I love the idea, I love the execution of it all and I love the pay off. It's simple and focused and frankly the more i watch it, the more i adore it.
Having recently seen in in HD (which frankly was incredible) i sort of fell in love with it all over again. The images even more striking (The Barn roof, the leg in the crops, that home video!!!) and the sound mix every bit as atmospheric as it was the first time i saw it. (the crops, the saliens outside the house, Isabelle stopping barking)
The family set up is the heart and soul here. Mel Gibson probably providing his finest performance in my mind. It was probably the first time i'd seen him a movie where i did'nt think "Riggs" once. He's quiet and internal and he plays the drama brilliantly. Back that up with Phoenix who is just great here. He grounds you in this world. He is your entry point into it all for me. I think that every reaction he has is pretty close to how i think i'd react in the situation.Hooked to the TV jut trying to see everything is an absolute certainty.
Culkin and Breslin are superb here too. Nght just letting them be kids makes this so much more rewarding than the usual movie kid roles.
M Night just has a knack of hitting the right notes for me, and at this point this was an incredible third movie in his fantastic run of movies. He may have felt a little lost in the village and Lady in the water may really only be for the crowd willinging to go along with him, but Signs was the movie that started making Night all that more important in the world of movies. He once again managed to grab my attention from a perspective that's all his own. He draws you in, he keeps the story small and personal and he actually delivers a genuine payoff event that feels a hell of a lot more real and original than a lot of the same genre of movie.
I love Signs. it's just too bloody good! ..................................................... "There's a monster outside my room, can I have a glass of water? "

"WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOAT ................................................................................ If you don't love jaws, you don't like movies! Jaws is perfect in everyway. Perfect structure, perfect screenplay, perfect characters......everything about it is perfect. Quint, brody and hooper are among the best group of characters in movies, each bringing there own view on the problem at hand. it's easy to just say jaws is good and then dismiss it, but jaws is every bit as great now as it was the 1st time you say it and if you havn't seen it in a while WATCH IT AGAIN, it's hard to belieive just how old it is and still it out smarts most new movies. i could go on and on about jaws, how speilberg set a riduculously high mark for people to live up to with this and how it's just a masterpiece... but you should all know this already. How's it going to end?
...........................................................
Stunning. A movie that so beautifully wraps you up in it's world and makes you feel for truman you just can't help but love it. This is jim's finest perfromance so far, and jim has had a lot of fine performances over the years. Truman is just so damn likable and when his world starts throwing up questions he simply can't explain, the movie just becomes insanly good.
The score helps it all along, the sheer weight it adds to moments is epic, the moments where truman is doing something diffrent to see what would happen - stopping the traffic, watching people watch him...the score is there to make it so thrilling.
The movies cleverness lies in the questions it raises about real life...not only the big brother society we are racing toward but more what if you did something diffrent, the world is only how it is because you have been presented it in this way.
Truman just hits all the right cords, if you don't feel totally satisfied as the boat punchers the outta sky wall at the end of the film and truman gives his final "in case i don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight" you are an empty shell of a human being because nothing represents true freedom than this moment

"God creates Dinosaurs. God Destroys Dinosaurs. God Creates Man. Man Destroys God. Man Creates Dinosaurs... " ............................................................... Speilberg took movies to the next level with one, T2 laid the groundwork, but 'berg took it to the masses.
No one could have made CG work so acceptable as the tool of the future than 'berg and the really great thing was, he did it with a movie that geniunly blew you away.
Not only is this is classic movie, but it has one of 'bergs best scenes, the slow build to seeing the T rex for the 1st time is more than amazing, the goats leg, the claw on the fence and then that shot when the rex steps out and lets out the greatest roar in movie history is just so perfect and it's as good now as it was the 1st time is made your draw drop. And then the actually scene unfolds and it's 'berg at his absolute best, perfect timing, perfect mood and the look of the film is perfect too. AND THIS IS JUST ONE SCENE! The rest of the movie is also incredible, you can tell 'berg is having fun with the subject and the attention to detail in what the dino's do and just how much they are involved is great. The cast are also great, goldblum was an inspired choice, no one could present the morale argument better, sam neil and dern both are great leads and attenborough sparks up the magic. Once again 'berg proves his might and once again cinema got in line and followed. A TRUE CLASSIC ............................................................. "DOOOWITTTTT I'MMMMERRRREE"..........................
SCI-FI adventure movies just can't live up to predator nowadays. There was something about this era of movies that just broke the norm, stuff like aliens, predator, robocop and terminator, movies than should be campy fun with no real spine, BUT these movies and predator being high up on that list, just fucking OWN you. This is far and away arnie's best role - he actually plays a character in here - not arnie (not that that is a bad thing as a rule - ARNIE IS KING!) i think what's diffrent is he basically becomes the hero in the movie, he isn't front and centre the good guy from the get go - the crew slowly get picked off (and man what a classic crew) and arnie ends up THE ONE WHO SURVIVED, rather than the one you always knew would come out on top, i guess it just feel like he could plausibly get picked off but ends up one on one with the predator. Which brings me the the predator. Stans winston gets praised for many thing from terminator to jurassic park, but i would say the predator costume is his finest work. It just feels total real, the way it moves, the wetness to the skin, everything feels 100% genuine compare than to the animattronic shenanagans in predator 2 and the overelly beefy and corky looking one in AVP and there is no substitute! The action in this is top notch, from blaine's crazy ass gun, billy's crazy eye to mac's constant shaving this is one hell of a movie, and this is all without mentioning the predator/arnie face off "you're one ugly muthafucker" along with a lot of words that arnie knows he's saying but we can only best guess. Someone with some real vision needs to make a predator movie SOON and we need the mandabled badass back in the limelight"...............................................................................
