a fast paced love story that has everything in it... "Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles..." everything you could ever hope for. it has pathetic special effects you just have to love. It fights so brilliantly choreographed, it has Andre the Giant playing a not so bright giant, who is very good at rhyming. it has a lost pirate, an evil prince, a not so willingly princess, and a senial king. Not to mention, the spaniard, the miracle max with a grudge, and the priest with a speech impedement. As well as a well meaning grandpa, and a young boy who learns something. and for the girls it has this "Since the invention of the kiss there have been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind. The End." now ill leave you with these simple words AS YOU WISH

an extremely underrated gem in my opinion. Give it a watch, Sigourney Weaver and Emile Hirsch really steal the the show.

this movie seriously made me cry! this is one of the best movies ive seen, its f***ing awesome! when the narratol writing came up at the end about what happened after the movie it made me soo sad, just how much he loved his daughter. Its an awesome movie. Sure the lead characters the man who brought cocaine to America, but i couldn't help but love him, and feel sad about the shit that went on in his life!!

i hadn't seen this movie in a while, but i just re-watched it and i'd totally forgotten how good it is!! this movie is utterley amazing in everyway (and even people who despise dakota can't help but love her in this movie!). a must see for everyone, i love it (even if it did have me crying the WHOLE way through it!)

brilliant, loved the relationship between Ben and Evie. Walters was a fabulous eccentric actress. a must see coming of age film!

i really loved helmut as he was driving away, i was so Noo. and the Rome stroyline was hilarious!

i loved this movie. it kept me captivated all the way through, and i was never sure what was going to happen next. you really connect with Tucker's character, and Reed's sure sends a through curve balls your way. was very pleasantly surprised!

Brilliant movie for Hall and Ringwald. A great represention of teenage life. i could relate to bits, and hey you have to love a Brat Pack classic.

You cant beat the Breakfast Club, Estevez, Hall, and Sheedy do an oustanding job.

Brillaint cast does equal a brilliant movie. Miranda Richardson was amazing as always, she played the wicked stepmother beautifully, bewitching all those around her with fairytale qualites. And the wonderfully awkard Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane, was just beautifully done. The chemistry between him and Ricci was well done, they had a great awkard yearning.
And the Burtonesque qualities were oh so beautiful! from the first scene it just screamed Burton, and was a beautiful amalgamation, of his love for 50's Horror, and dark fairytale. another must see from him. The Burton Depp team yet again showing their brilliance, with Burton's brilliant vision, and Depp's ability to translate it so well into Burton's outsider characters it was just unforgettable!

This movie is bloody hilarious!! Its a must see for everyone!!

brilliant movie, but very very heavy!

it gives a very raw view on the skinhead culture in the 1980's, and the racism some sub groups had!

The movie is utterly brilliant, with a heart capturing performance from young Thomas Turgoose (a first time actor at that!), and Stephan Graham was an utterly hate able antagonist.

The film is rather difficult to watch at parts, but does balance it with some good laughs (though at times your laughing just sp you dont have to face how awful it is). At times i practically wanted to yell at Woody, to not leave that poor boy with that maniac! on a side note Woody is brilliant, you fall in love with him immediately, with him you feel as if Shaun being a skinhead could be good for him. it was just Combo's complete insanity, that it all goes wrong. but Smell was another question, i mean never really got why she was with him, way to old for him.

a worth while watch, but expect some heavy stuff!!
