By far, one of my favorites. So much to learn, so much to be inspired by, love in all shapes and forms. Wonderful. This movie was like watching my life.
Moon

Sam Rockwell, as expected gives a stunning and brilliant performance, and finds himself a bit beside himself, in this wonderfully crafted film. Very rarely do we stumble upon pieces of art that are able to move us in incredible ways, Moon, is the embodiment of what's missing from the world of cinema. With all the big budgets floating out there for the likes of Transformers and dozens of popcorn movies, Moon displays how Sci-Fi and suspense can be achieved to perfection through creativity and innovation. It's old school nostalgic feel brings something fresh and greatly inspiring. Duncan Jones with his film debut has done one heck of a job, using Sam to his potential as well as writing such an intricate and dually subtle work of art. The music by the always wonderful Clint Mansell helped grasp and tie down all the emotions flowing through Sam and the feel of the film and bring it boiling to the surface, burning with much vigor. Mansell's epic score accompanied by the vastness of space leaves for an eerie yet astonishing experience. Overall, Moon embraced loneliness and longing in a way I've not seen and one man's determination to revelation and self discovery. I found so much to relate to in be inspired by, the search for truth and one's place in life, to dealing with such isolation, telling you I felt chills during this film is an understatement. If you can see it in a theater near you, I don't just highly recommend it, I think you NEED to see it.
