I found this movie really sad, excellently performed and with a really heart-breaking story.

Excellent story! You feel like crying at the end of the movie, but at the same time you feel happy for everything going on.... excellent performances, just love it!

Hero
by JackThe first foreign film I've watched. And it certainly won't be the last.
Plot: In feudal China, the King of Qin is waging a bloody campaign to conquer the entire land. He has been made a target of three dangerous assassins: spear-wielding Sky, and the lovers Broken Sword and Flying Snow. One day word comes that he has nothing left to fear; a prefect known only as Nameless has killed all three assassins. Nameless is called to the palace and asked to recount the tale of how he accomplished this amazing feat. After he tells his story, however, the King notices some flaws in it.
Doesn't sound like a film I would enjoy, seeing the plot. But, the way it was performed was flawless.
A true masterpiece. Even if you do have to watch like a deaf person. Most of you on my friends list have seen this, and the review sucks. But whatever.

Into the Wild
by MagaliThe first thing to mention about this great film is Sean Penn's brillant job as the director. The images, the sequence of scenes, the mix of shoots, the contrast achieved by showing a situation of total despair followed by a joyful one. Everything compiles to form a marvellously filmed movie.
The leading characters' performance is a very strong one. This guy, Emile Hirsch (who was, till that moment, a total stranger to me) surprised me for good, with his good job.
The key question is the philosophy of life that is presented and how it can be changed by a strong feeling of loneliness. The characters' emotions are very well transmited, and the last scene in which the real protagonist of the story appears in a picture is...the perfect ending.
Just a beautiful film.Hey, you should really see this!

Shade
by MagaliAll these movies are exactly the same. Same twist, same ending, same acting. Of course that would not make it a non-good film. The fact that Stallone's there trying to actually act, and not killing everyone is what makes it a 2 and half film, and not a three one.
Hey, you would probably not want to see this.

Prom Queen
by BrianI guess I have to watcha gay movie every once in a while or the gay mafia will revoke my membership. Trust me, it's in the bylaws.
Well, in any case, too bad I chose Prom Queen...
It's comically stereotypical, cheesy and very Disney Channelesque, and not in a cute way. And what's worse, for a movie that's only four years old, it's woefully dated, even the stereotypes.
Ya, I guess it has somewhat of a good message -- but that's about its only redeeming quality.
Good thing I didn;t pay anything to see this.Avoid this.

Made of Honor
by BrianI didn;t want to see this originally, but I got roped in, and it was free anyway, so what the hell, right?
But it was about as good as I thought it'd be, which wasn;t very...
Slow in parts and very formulaic. Not totally horrible, but only worth a rent and only if you like the genre.
Tiny Shorts Guy made me laugh tho, hahaMeh.

27 Dresses
by BrianOK, so there are some pacing problems, and it's not very original at all, but honestly, does anyone watch these types of films expecting to be wowed with flawlessness and originality? No
But it was fun! And although some people said Katherine Heigl's talents were wasted, I disagree. KH is perfect for the role, especially at this stag in her carreer, and she and Marsden had good chemistry.
I busted out laughing during Benny and the Jets.
It was a good time.Hey, you should really see this!
