Visually stunning, but not the "best film ever made" as some are saying. Take away the special effects and all you have is a watered down version of Dances with Wolves with a predictable script executed with average performances. It appears that you can have great scripts, great performances and great special effects, but rarely two and never all three. It's sad, because this film could have been great, but instead was merely good. |
