The Coen's seem to be able to come up with these odd ball films without breaking into a sweat and this is one of their best. The characters aren't run-of-the -mill but you can still believe them and care what happens to them. The plot doesn't take you where you think it's going but you are very glad it took you there...all they then had to do was throw in a few doses of whimsey and you have one of my favourite movies
