About Me
I am a sinner, saved by grace. I believe that Jesus Christ is the risen Son of God. Some of my hobbies include watching/following the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cincinnati Reds and the Dayton Flyers.  Also, I enjoy watching movies, rating movies, discussing movies, researching movies, and pretty much anything else you can do with movies!  I like to read, but sometimes I'll put a book down and not pick it back up for weeks.  I'll never get through any "top 100 novels" lists reading at my current pace.  Like the other few billion people in the world, I like music, but I want bore you with who.  I play the guitar and write songs, or at least try to.

I laughed... a lot, but not at Adam Sandler. Tea Leoni and Cloris Leachman are a riot! A good story, with a do-it-for-the-kids theme.
Bottle Rocket Bottle Rocket R 3.0 Stars
Owen Wilson is hilarious in this idiotic, low-budget comedy. There isn't much to the story, and the movie isn't too long. It's worth seeing just to hear some of the things that come out of Wilson's mouth, Owen that is. Luke provides nothing but a dull performance, as usual.
Across the Universe Across the Universe PG-13 4.0 Stars
A brilliant piece of artwork, and that's coming from someone who isn't a huge fan of abstract art, with which this film is loaded. There are times when this movie goes off the deep end, but it always comes back, tastefully, and bursting with energy. If you like the music of the Beatles, then you will obviously enjoy this movie more, but it isn't just for Beatles fans. This musical includes outstanding performances, and sound as well.

One hour and 50 minutes I immediately tried to forget.

Weird. Just what you would expect from writer, Charlie Kaufman. That being said, this is also one of the most romantic movies made in a while (although, I don't watch many), with the idea of unending love scattered all over.

Not extremely original, but still very good. There are some very down-to-earth moments, and some very over-the-top moments, which gives a little bit of an inconsistent feel, but also keeps it from being boring. It's a fun film.
