Such a beautiful movie with great performances at every turn. The absolute devastation of the Depression and yet the lingering hope/optimism that people cling to is inspiring. What a treat.

Anyone who didn't know about this film and saw it would absolutely believe it's a documentary. There's no other film in Hollywood that's quite like this, with the same charm and ease and chemistry. Such a treat.
