Memento - R Aww. I hate reviewing movies I like. I don't really like any of the actors in it, but they all did a good job. Though, the best part of it is the plot, as it should be. I can't imagine anyway that the movie could've been better. December 4, 2009

Unforgiven - R I hate Westerns. I don't particularly like Clint Eastwood either (acting-wise, except The Good, The Bad and the Ugly which was awesome). I was seriously bored throughout the movie. The sets were good, the costumes and all that, but it was gay. The acting was good from everyone except Eastwood, who just bothers me for some reason. November 28, 2009

The Twilight Saga: New Moon - PG-13 Firstly, I had never heard about the books until August 2008, when I read them. I didn't even know that they were popular, but anyway. I was addicted to the books for a week, the week in which I read all of them, which is amazing for me these days. I still don't know why I enjoyed the books.

The first movie sucked. Obviously. Horrible acting, casting, dialogue, directing, effect... etc.

This sucked also, but the directing wasn't as bad. Michael Sheen was pretty much the only one who had any acting talent. I seriously have no idea why any of these people were cast. Not only are they all extremely ugly, they can't act and have no chemistry. This one did a better job at showing the relationship between Bella and Jacob grow, than Bella and Edward's relationship in the first one.

I hate Jacob, which is why I didn't particularly like the second book anyway and the dude who played him is so frackin' FUGLY, I wanted to vomit. But I think everyone's acting ability was worse than his fug head.

It Happened One Night - Unrated I didn't find it funny at all, but I thought it was a good romance. I hate romance movies, as I mention all the time, but this is how they should be.

What I hate about romance movies now, is that they're like this: two people with no chemistry meet, they fall in love 2 minutes later and have sex and pretty much get naked and make out whenever they can.

And they don't even kiss in this! Which was awesome. The tension works way better when nothing happens. See Bent (1997 or something).

Inglourious Basterds - R I like Quentin Tarantino, but I hate Brad Pitt. And it looked like it was going to be long and gay. But I really enjoyed it.

The opening scene was brilliant. Amazing. The acting throughout was good, especially from Christoph Waltz and Melanie Laurent. And I never praise female performances so that's saying something (the only other ones I've liked: Louise Fletcher in One Flew, Kathy Bates in Misery... and I'm pretty sure there's someone else but I can't remember).

It was funny, and well-written (well, obviously, it's Tarantino). Yeah. I hate praising movies, I can never do it well.

Das Boot (The Boat) - R I had to watch this because it was in the Top 250. But I didn't want to because basically it looked to me as 'A three hour movie with dudes in a submarine'. But holy poop! It was awesome!

I was kinda iffy about it to begin with, but once they got in the sub, I was pretty much engrossed. I was actually seriously rooting for a happy ending (which I never do), and was like 'yeyz' at the end. And then it ended even more awesomely. And I jizzed in my pants. Seriously though, it was awesome.

(500) Days of Summer - PG-13 This was in the Top 250, but being a romantic comedy, new and it looked like a 'quirky' movie, I figured it would be retarded like Juno and avoided it.

But it was actually quite good. And they played The Smiths, who are frickin' awesome. I liked the sequencing and I thought it progressed really well. The leads actually had chemistry unlike 99% of movies these days and the acting was good too. I also really liked the ending, which is how romantic comedies should end.

Witness for the Prosecution - Unrated When it started, I was like 'ZOMG this fat guy suckzz!I!#!@#!'. But, I got used to him. Then when the trial actually started, I started to really enjoy it. By the end of the movie I was quite amazed at how good it was, considering I really didn't like Marlene Dietrich. BUT, at the end of the movie I realized she wasn't that bad. I was happy at the ending, until the last thing ended and was almost tempted to take down the rating but didn't. November 28, 2009

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 - R I have a bad reaction to PainStop, a kids medicine. I woke up the morning of the day I watched this with a bad cough, so I took literally a drop (less than the recommended dose for a 2 year old). Anyway, hours later I was totally screwed from it. I could barely walk, keep my eyes open etc and so thought I should watch a movie.

This was the only recent 'action' movie I had, so I chose it. I managed to stay awake, albeit barely. It was pretty boring and lame, but it was ok I suppose. The ending was kinda retarded though.

2012 - PG-13 I love disaster movies coz they kick butt. So when I saw the preview for the movie, I got goosebumps and waited [im]patiently for it to come out.

Although I would've preferred the characters be 'normal' people (without access to planes), less on the Government-y side of things and non-divorced couple, it was ok. Oh, and without a happy ending and the boat thingies.

I only saw this really to watch the world get destroyed (because that makes me jizz in my pants). The scene when the neighbourhood goes down, was awesome. Seriously, me, my dad and bro were all on the edge of our seats all like 'ZOMG AWESOMEZ' O.O.

Sleepless in Seattle - PG I hate romantic comedies. But I like Tom Hanks, and even though I don't like her, I like a few Meg Ryan movies.

It was ok. I generally don't want happy endings, especially in romance movies coz happy endings suck nuts, but I was looking forward to the ending in this.

Rollerball - R I hate sport movies, but I lovez dystopian-y future movies. But I was sooo bored. I was looking forward to it, but nothing seemed to happen. November 28, 2009

Matchstick Men - PG-13 I was still in a Sam Rockwell mood, so I quickly read the plot summary and chucked it in the DVD player since we had it lying around. I actually didn't mind it and was *facepalming* at the end, because I ALWAYS predict the ending. But, I thought this was some comedy, drama guy-bonds-with-lost-daughter-movie, so I was just chillaxing instead of actually thinking. I mean, when I watched House of Games, I saw the ending coming a mile away. But whatever, it wasn't too bad. November 28, 2009

Moon - R I wanted to see this for aggeeeeeesssss coz I love Sam Rockwell. So finally I found it.

But it was boring and weird (in a bad way). Sam Rockwell was fine, as usual so complaints there. But once he found out he was a clone it dragged on and was lame. There were bits I liked, but as a whole I think it would've worked better as a short or an episode of The Outer Limits or something.

The Devil's Backbone (El Espinazo del diablo) - R It was good. I dunno what else to say. The acting was good, it was enjoyable, it was kinda spooky and yeah. I actually almost turned away during the keyhole seen coz I started pooping my pants =P November 28, 2009

Up - PG I hate kids movies and I hate animation. But it was like #30 in the Top 250 so I had to watch it.

The first half was really good. The little montage of him and his wife was one of the most brilliant things I've ever seen. Once the dogs appeared, it got stupid and lame. It was really 'pretty' as well. But yeah, the first half was awesome but then it was just stupid.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose - PG-13 I'd heard about it, but I thought it was some stupid remake so ignored it - hey I just saw that Wyndom Earle was in it, heh - anyway, I then saw it on a list (?) and decided to watch it.

I actually thought it was pretty good. It was kinda freaky at times too. I generally don't like Jennifer Carpenter (I watch Dexter, but she annoys me), but she was pretty good. I like the whole 'Rashomon-y' style of telling so that excited me.

Paranormal Activity - R After hearing all these rave reviews about it, I had to see it. But it was lame. The acting was pretty bad, except a few minutes here and there. There was only one time where I sorta went 'Eek!', then I was like *snore* for the rest of it.

I stopped halfway through watching and on IMDb there were all these people calling Katie Featherstone fat; obviously because they live in Ethiopia or enjoy necrophilia. So I spent the rest of the movie, thinking 'wtf people? she's at a frackin' healthy weight. I'm fat, not her!'. So that distracted me a bit, but it was lame anyway.

Death Race 2000 - R Although I wanted to see it anyway, I watched it when I did because Lundy had just died and I remembered about it. I spent most of the movie thinking 'Damn he looks like his [half] brother]. Anyway, it wasn't too bad but it was a bit boring and the acting was dodgy from most of the cast. November 28, 2009
