This movie was great. Just about everything was done right. A great homage to classic horror movie series. Jason is a freaking BEAST, he is ripped and a total badass.

Watchmen (2009,  R)
Watchmen
This movie was amazing! The special effects and the story telling were spot on and it really felt like a moving comic book. It's great. The acting was even pretty good.

Burn After Reading (2008,  R)
Burn After Reading
Oh. My. God. There is no way to easily start this review. I'm going to start out by saying Brad Pitt completely and utterly stole the show for me. There is no doubt or question about that. And for those some people who don't like his haircut. "FUCK YOU!" It suited him very well for his role.

Now, for the actual review. This movie somehow managed to stay light and frivilous, while being nihistic and dark at the same time. It was really amazing to see that work out. The Coen Brothers have outdone themselves in without a doubt their best movie. A lot of suspense was also in the movie, like the scene with the closet and such. It was so funny with smart humor, and yet the people were all on their level of dumb. Amazing stuff here.

The plot, which doesn't actually exist, is a strong point. It's weird where a movie without a plot has it's absence of a plot as a strong point work, but it does. Nothing makes sense and they have two Government men in the movie who are hilarious too, explain this obvious fact, that there is really no motivation for anyone to be doing anything, except for vanity. Most of the movie revolves around each character's own vanity. They were all to busy caring about themselves. It was awesome to see this.

All the actors and their acting was exceptional. They convinced me that they were on their own level of stupid that the whole movie carries for all the characters, while being serious. I love it when a movie pulls this off, and very, very few do.

The script was genius and fantastically written. *Round of applause*

George Clooney being a sex addict/perv was hilarious to see. He somehow pulls all the characters and stories together with his sexual escapades. He was hilarious and managed to piss me off more than humanly possible. I can't believe how fucking mad I was in the theatre when *SPOILER SPOILER* he shoots Chad (Brad Pitt). I was literally and utterly depressed when he died. I thought the movie was going to go completely downhill after that. But, although I never got over him dying, I managed to thouroughly enjoy the rest of the movie. His character is also apparently the main character, which was weird to me.

Frances McDormand was great too. Her wanting her surgery the whole movie was one of the Coen brother's thems of reiterating a constant theme during their movies. She was an employee at Hardbodies gym and was looking for a lover on an internet dating service. Hilarious stuff.

John Malkovich was hilarious as well. The movie opening with him had me wondering where it was going, but it worked. He didn't seem like all to an important character but was. It's hard to tell who was important and who wasn't in this awesome wacky script.

Tilda Swinton didn't do much, but was good. She was a scary lady in the movie. That's about it. But she wasn't bad, so that's good.

And the best of them all, Brad Pitt. He was "on the run" from the CIA with his top secret data that was found in the women's locker at the Hardbodies Gym he works at. His character was the embodiment of stupidity and lovability at the same time. He was the one who told Tilda's character what to do and say, even though he may not have realized it, and she goes crazy without him. From the instant I was introduced to his character, I was immediately attached to him, and couldn't wait to see more of his character. This is good chemistry, not many actors or characters can get you as connected in the whole fucking movie, as he did in about 2 minutes. Just wow. I think they did this so that his death was more of a shock and made you feel emotional and upset about this tragedy. Everytime he was on screen I was smiling. And just about every action or line he said/did was fucking hilarious. This one scene where he is in a car with John Malkovich, "negotiating", and he keeps squinting to look mean (trying to glare) and keeps repeating the little script he wrote was the funniest fucking thing. I was laughing so loudly. And as I mentioned before, when he died, I was like WTF?!?!? And so was everyone else in the theatre. I was cursing George Clooney and glaring the fuck at him. It was so sad, especially cause when the door opened he was smiling and then bang, he's dead so quickly. I can't even put into words how I felt, it is so strange. But luckily the movie somehow picked up again. But that scene is still stuck in my head and still makes me sad. Even though he was just a movie character, he was so likable that I still feel sad for him. That's never happened to me before from a movie.

And was it just me, or did it feel way too short? Right when it ended, I felt like I wanted to see more. This was the first time I have felt so many different emotions from just one movie. It's amazing. I really believe this is an outstanding and completely breath-taking new movie, which is a true gem in the swamp crap of what is now most new movies coming out.

If you haven't seen this movie, you need to see it NOW! It is a joy to watch this film. This should be nominated for many awards of various categories.

Hot Fuzz
Hilariously awesome movie. It kicks ass while being hilarious at the same time. I don't know how to compare it with Shaun of the Dead, but it rocked. It was so so funny. There was so many times when I was thinking fuck yes, this is the shit right here. I can't wait till (if) they make another movie.

Freakin' awesome movie. I love a movie that can be funny, and have some "good" action stuff too. It was very funny, even though the beginning was laggish.
18
Dawn of the Dead (2004,  R)
Dawn of the Dead
Great remake of a classic zombie movie. Although the zombies running fast pisses me off, I still like it. I feel zombies need to move slowly, so it's scarier when they get you
