Unlike many people, I do not like or appreciate "toilet humor" movies or soft-porns like American Pie / Porkies movies. I like movies that have some intelligence in the writing and acting. However, I don't mind an occasional mindless comedy if it is not lewd. I am starting to appreciate more and more, the classic movies from the 40's and 50's. There are some good WWII movies from the 50's and 60's!

The X-Files: I Want to Believe (The X Files 2)
PG-13
There are no alien abductions, no space invaders, no conspiracy theories, nothing spooky or supernatural - just a routine crime drama, like "C.S.I.: West Virginia."

Aweful. LONG. There were some good parts, but with this big, LONG build up, I expected a GREAT ending. It was VERY disapointing.

Awesome! Life changing. This is a movie that should be an annual tradition during Lent.

Bella
PG-13
When I saw the trailer for this movie, I was not very interested. However, when I heard from people that had seen it I decided to pay the $10. What a great movie! It was very well paced and acted. People are claiming that the movie starts out slow, but the character development is a very important part of the story. Don't read too much about the movie! It will ruin some of the surprises as the story unfolds. Bella won the People's Choice Award at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival, has been an "official selection" of numerous other film festivals.
