E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial (1982,  PG)
2
The Grudge (2004,  PG-13)
The Grudge
A very frightening movie. Had me hiding behind my popcorn in the theater! This is the perfect movie for people like me who enjoy being creeped out better than being grossed out. It's got all sorts of eerie suspense and it stars my favorite vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar.
3
El Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth) (2006,  R)
4
The Notebook (2004,  PG-13)
5
Fright Night (1985,  R)
Fright Night
Spooky, campy vampire fun! Campy and corny as this movie may be - it is one of my all-time faves! It was probably this movie that got me started on my vampire kick! Just watch it - it's fun as well as spooky!
6
50 First Dates (2004,  PG-13)
50 First Dates
Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are great together (again) in this sweet, funny movie that is everything that a romantic comedy should be.
7
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005,  PG-13)
8
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004,  PG)
9
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002,  PG)

11
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007,  PG-13)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Another great movie in the Harry Potter series. This movie is the darkest so far - the characters are really growing up. Loved it.
12
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007,  PG-13)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
I think I liked this one better than the second one!
13
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006,  PG-13)
14
Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003,  PG-13)
15
Bridget Jones's Diary (2001,  R)
16
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989,  PG-13)
17
Van Helsing (2004,  PG-13)
18
Poltergeist (1982,  PG)
Poltergeist
this movie produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) has got to be one of the most awesome and memorable ghost movies ever made. The special effects were spooktakular - especially for a movie made in 1982. Ghosts, possessed clown dolls (ick!), murderous trees - this movie's got it all.
19
Dragonheart (1996,  PG-13)
Dragonheart
One of my favorites! Adventure, fantasy, action, and humor too. Sean Connery was a wonderful choice for the voice of Draco the dragon.
20
Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi) (2001,  PG)
