Cloak & Dagger
by DeanThis is the one of the best dangerously cat-and-mouse thriller movies that makes me exciting to see young actor Henry Thomas (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial) as a highly imaginative boy who often plays pretend games of espionage with his fantasy friend finds himself involved in a real-life-and-death situation when he stumbles onto the evil doings of a group of spies. It's suspenseful and fast-paced but not so scary and violent as to upset the kiddies - it's true when I was 10 years old.

Mirrors
by NickAlexandre Aja is establishing hinself well in the pantheon of the new splat pack directors. His movies feature great gore and this one is no exeption! The story is slow in its development but makes sure to include bumps and creeps to move it along. The freaky moments held in the mirrors are what sets this one apart. Different from what is out there lately and well worth the watch!
Hey, you should really see this if blood, gore, and freaky horror is your thing.

by DeanKatherine Heigl makes an excellent performance as the "always a bridesmaid, not the bride" in this fabulous romantic-comedy movie. This is familiar to My Best Friend's Wedding in the story between Jane (Heigl), her sister Tess (Malin Akerman) and her boss George (Edward Burns) that sets up a dysfunctional love triangle.

As a heroin addict who spirals downwards, recovers, relapses and finally seems on the road to more lasting recovery, Benicio Del Toro is mesmerising. As the inconsolable Audrey, Halle Berry is the best she has ever been - nothing but credible. Together, they're magic!

Never Back Down
by DeanWhat an amazing adrenalin-charged martial arts extravaganza film of the teen flick. I accepted what Chicago Tribune movie reviewer Michael Phillips said about this movie is a little Karate Kid, a smidge of Fight Club... a lot of The O.C. - I can see the point of views on the story. And Djimon Hounsou does a superb performance as the coach of Mixed Martial Arts.
