Mad Money
by HeatherI was suprised how much I liked this movie. Queen Latifah is wonderful and sassy as usual. Diane Keaton didn't overact like she did in First Wives Club. Katie Holmes was the surprise for me. Her character was so silly and carefree. I think the best part of this is it shows that 3 women who were basically sh-t on by society, one being a single mother, another just being poor, and the third being an older women who's husband lost his job and all their money, and how hard it is to get back into the workforce, even wtih a college degree. These women met under somewhat believable circumstances and ended up being great friends. Total chick flick, but the guy who is Katie's husband is HILARIOUS! Ted Danson is great in his role as well. I would recommend this movie for a good laugh.
Hey, you should really see this! This was surprisingly better than I thought it would be.
