I'm surprised how down low this film got released. I'd never heard of it but decided to check it out and I liked it. The story was original, the ideas were funny and imaginative. It kinda sinks a bit half way but it picks up in the end, though I do think the writer could have done a better job with it. I didn't like the Not Sure name thing as it didn't really have a purpose. I was expecting something clever like the No One idea used in the Odyssey, but no cigar. Worth a watch and I'd end up buying it on DVD just to watch when I'm feeling stupid.

Well I'm a bit torn over this. On one hand, I enjoyed it more than One Missed Call 2. However it has a few elements that don't add up.

    *SPOILER*

How does the public emailing PAM's computer cause it to crash and blow up? Secondly, how is it that in the end she was saved by her boyfriend taking the call, when earlier the boy with glasses didn't answer the call or was holding his mobile phone, yet he still died? Ok, the ending follows the earlier movie, but why make up a different rule for this one 'till the end?

Wow what a mind f*ck. The acting is believable, the script is excellent though hard to follow at times but that's the goal of the movie. To sort of confuse you and make you feel like one of the infected which can be seen with the movies alteration between red and green and the minds static recognition of them. A few jumpy bits as well makes this movie well worth the watch.

I quite enjoyed this movie. If I were to compare it, I'd say it's like Near Dark in a sense of not being as true to the sterotype of it's kind. A thinking persons horror movie, so if you're after gore etc, give this one a pass.

This movie starts out confusing the crap out of you. Then, it all makes sense. But no, it doesn't because then it confuses you even more! Great framing and cuts with a great way of conveying events and really puts the viewer feeling like he's there at times. I love Asian cinema and it's ways to really make your brain go on overtime and try to make sense of it all. This is a great example and the thing is, it's not the type of missed out information that really grinds your gears like the likes of Hollywood made ones.

A great feel good movie with a happy ending. The duo of Adam Sandler and Kevin James have great chemistry together and you instantly take a liking to them. Also has quite a few laughs and one of those rare movies where I had to pause it 'till I stopped laughing on one part so I didn't miss anything.

Fantastic! This movie makes you really think and will go over the heads of most people. A great rivalry between two magicians that goes too far. The cast give a realistically magical performance and Christian Bale stands out in my opinion and one you end up supporting throughout as he battles to keep his secrets against his rival played by Jackman. Obsession, science, backstabbing and trickery. This is one of the greats!

Those who put this in the "save your money and don't watch it" category really need to stop trying to be critics over genre familiarity and focus on character development and point of plot. So the movie has similarities to The Grudge and the Ring? So what, it doesn't make a tacky version of them and has a different story all other exploring elements while the others just focused on the they died now they want revenge" crap. Sound familiar? Yeah because just about every horror movie out there revolves around the evil trying to get payback over something. Evil Dead, Night Of The Living Dead, Resident Evil; All have zombies in them and don't reinvent the genre. Same with most vampire movies. And this is an asian ghost movie so why does it have to redefine the ghosts? Genres exist for as reason. People like something, they stick with it and it seems most of Flixster agrees considering it has an above average rating. Apologies for the rant but being a movie writer and director myself I know how hard it is and I dislike those who think it's so easy to make something good.

This is one f*cked up movie and I love it lol. I'm a big fan of Miike since Itci The Killer. Really disturbing movie with lactation, incest, necrophilia and a hint of pedophilia with lots of physical abuse and rape. Messed up but fun lol.

Fantastic movie. So imaginative with great characters and a good plot and special effects that begs you for them to hurry up and do the sequels.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt acts brilliantly in this Scott Frank great. Believably written with a hero who isn't invincible but one who struggles in his every day life and has to cope with his disabilities. Jeff Daniels as usual compliments the scenes very well and was a great choice for the supporting actor. Greg Dunham plays a great character who you really end up hating towards the end even though he had very few lines compared to Matthew Goode. A great drama with a message of overcoming your handicaps.

Before hand watching this, my expectations were some what low due to some bad reviews I had read about it. I am glad I made the choice to watch it for myself and decide for I found this a very enjoyable imaginative piece of work. Shyamalan's writing in this movie is different to that of his previous work and really reminds me of the writing marvel Graham Masterton, specifically his Night Warrior's series. The acting was great, the plot was full of fantasy and enjoyment and you actually want the characters in the end to succeed in what they must do. I highly recommend you go see this, but if you lack imagination, you will fall sort of enjoyment.
