Inglourious Basterds - R To be honest I didn't enjoy this movie at all. It just got worse and worse throughout the journey of watching it. The acting wasn't that great, the movie never really had a storyline and it never seemed to be getting anywhere.
I must praise Quentin Tarantino for the remarkable effects in this movie but that's about everything I can possibly give positive critical acclaim for because everything else just wasn't worth watching!

The Forgotten - PG-13 I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't quite the way I expected but it was incredibly entertaining.
It kept me hooked from start to finish and it even made me jump a few times, despite the fact that it wasn't even scary.
The acting was terrific and it really made me believe in the characters. A very enjoyable movie!

The Uninvited - PG-13 It was beyond my imagination that I would ever enjoy a movie this much. It had everything that I could ever ask for a movie to have.
The acting was terrific, the storyline mesmerized me and with an unexpectedly incredible twist in the end, this movie most certainly won't be forgotten in a hurry!

Drag Me to Hell - PG-13 This wasn't at all what I expected. It was better. This movie has everything from romantic lines that make you say 'awww!' to genuine horror that makes you scream, shiver and jump up and down.
With an ending that'll make you beg and plead, scream and jump, this movie will stay with you for an eternity!

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee - R This movie wasn't at all worth the money that it cost to buy, and I'm even starting to wonder why this incredible cast would want to be in a movie like this. January 2, 2010

Summer's Blood (Summer's Moon) - R I've never seen a movie quite like this. I quite enjoyed it because of it being unique and different and because of it being one of those movies where you just want to know how it's going to end from the very beginning!
It was a different movie for Ashley Greene, having only seen Twilight and New Moon with her it was fun to see something different!
I could recommend it for it's uniqueness but it's not a movie I'd see more than once!

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 - R I must say, it was a long time ago I saw a movie quite as boring as this one.
I would've normally liked an action movie about a subway train and a hijack, that is if it was interesting, well made and could possibly hold you awake. This one couldn't. The acting wasn't that great for the matter and the movie just couldn't hold me awake for a minute. Nothing ever really happened during the movie, it was just the same old scene during it all and the movie never seemed to get anywhere!

Surveillance - R This is probably one of the most grim and bleak movies I've ever seen. Despite that I found the movie boring and actually had a hard time to keep myself awake.
The best thing of the whole movie was to see Ryan Simpkins' fabulous acting, who's only a ten year old.
Although the movie did end with an incredible twist, it was filmed in such a bad way that you didn't quite understand the twist until after a while!

Two Lovers - R This is the story about being in a relationship you wish you weren't in and not being in a relationship you wish you were in.
The acting from Joaquin Phoenix particularly was fabulous and even though I'd expected the movie to be a bit more about the consequences that come from cheating on someone I really enjoyed it.
It's about choosing the one to love and not really knowing what to do about it! A very well made and well acted movie that I really enjoyed.

The Heartbreak Kid - R Usually I can't stand Ben Stiller as an actor at all, and this movie wasn't an exception. His humour is overrated and I don't even find him funny, most scenes with him in it are even pathetic and eerie.
Some parts of this movie was actually worth watching and it could be quite entertaining at times but overall it's not a movie I would watch more than once!

Nowhere Boy - Unrated Nowhere Boy is a magical drama where you get to experiense the true life of John Lennon.
The movie wasn't quite how I'd expected it to be, although Aaron Johnson, Kristin Scott Thomas and Thomas Sangster portrayed their characters wondrously.
In this movie you'll find out about all the losses John Lennon went through, but also what it was that made him build one of the best bands of all time.
Although I'd hoped for it to be a bit more like Walk the Line, when you can easily experience the magic of the transition from nothing to famous, it wasn't like that at all. It's hard to come up to Walk the Line's standards and this movie did start off quite slow but turned out really worthwhile towards the end.
The soundtrack was marvellous and it was absolutely fantastic hearing the actors' wonderful voices!

Rails & Ties - PG-13 Rails & Ties is a story about loss, forgiveness and giving up.
It's a story so powerful that it will make your knees clasp together, your arms clenching themselves around you and your pupils increasing more and more for every second of the movie.
This movie will throw you so much sorrow and sadness that it will be impossible to forget about it after the credits have rolled. It will make you think hard about the real truth behind actually living.
It will also make you comprehend the emotions with both people who are alive but don't want to, and people who don't have long to live but wishes they had their whole lives left.
The actors portrayed the characters in this movie so credibly that it felt as if you were in the story and everything was actually happening to you as the movie kept rolling. Actors that can be that believable can only be praised!
An absolute astonishing movie that will cause a flood in your tear duct!

The Deep End of the Ocean - PG-13 This is a movie about the worst possible scenario for a parent. Losing a child.
The Deep End of the Ocean is a story about loving, forgetting and forgiving. It's a story about loss, but at the same time not accepting the loss, instead trying to remember the day everything went horribly wrong.
I thought everyone acted spectacularly well in this magical drama about trying to make everything just the way it once was, even though nine years have passed.
It's a story about getting to know someone that you've known all your life, but at the same time you know nothing about them.
It's also a story about making everything the same, even though everything deep down just never will be the same anymore...

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane - R Wow, what can I say??
This movie will make you jump, shiver and scream at the most appropriately unexpected places.
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane is such a uniquely made horror movie that you don't know what to expect until the very end. You will be sitting at the edge of your sofa, vibrating of excitement and then BANG, comes the ending, something so unexpected and there you are horror-struck and don't quite know what to believe anymore!
This movie will shock you and tease you and maybe even frighten you!

Untraceable - R I found this movie being quite slow in the beginning but turning better and better towards the end. It was quite hard coming into the story and felt like that even though loads of things were happening in the movie, at the same time nothing was happening at all. The movie could've been a lot better than it was, although the end was unexpectingly heart-clenching, and therefore makes the movie worth it! December 22, 2009

The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It - PG Despite the fact that this movie has the typical horror movie storyline: moving to a new neighbourhood and all of a sudden loads of scary and heart-clenching things happen. Alex Zamm still managed to make this movie unique and spooky in a very different type of way.
Emily Osment really suited as the role of a girl who loves Halloween and to scare people, the girl with black hair and blue highlights, the girl with loads of eyeliner. It really was an experience to see her in something different and not as humourous. Where you can see the serious side of her.
This movie is about loneliness, regret and annoying brothers, and I thought everyone made their part of the movie extraordinary and definitely worth it!

Amadeus - R This movie was okay. It started off really slow and the movie was way too long for one sitting. I had a hard time coming into the story but after a while it became entertaining. Although the movie would jump back and forth to boring and entertaining ever-so-often.
I wouldn't see this movie more than once though, and it's not even a movie I'd see without being forced to see it!

A movie that's easy to love and will stay in your hearts forever.

Heavenly Creatures - R Kate Winslet did look a bit older than 14-years-old in this wonderfully acted movie, but that might be because she was 17 in real life.
I thought Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey were great as the roles for Juliet and Pauline though something that did annoy me a little was that suddenly Melanie Lynskey were playing so many different characters, her name was suddenly Pauline, Yvonne, Charles, Paul and Gina, and I had absolutely no idea where all the names came from.
It was still really sad and emotional and a very gripping story, even though the beginning was weird and didn't have anything to do with the movie and the feeling you have now when the movie is finished.

The Holiday - PG-13 The first time I saw this movie I really loved it for some reason, but now when I see it again I'm starting to realise just how unrealistic it is.
First of all I think Cameron Diaz is a useless actress and most of the scenes she's in I just find fake and unrealistic.
The only good actress in this movie is Kate Winslet who once again shows us that she can act in just about anything!

Zathura - PG Extremely well made and terrific acting.
They've mixed comedy, mystery and excellence all in the same movie which I think is terrific!

Panic Room - R Superb acting from Jodie Foster.
This is an extremely exciting movie with a lot of tension which I can certainly recommend, the appearence from Kristen Stewart was incredible and she did a remarkable job.
It really glued me to the screen from start to finish.

The Messengers - PG-13 Astonishing acting from Kristen Stewart.
This movie is terrifically well made and will scare you from the first moment you put your eyes on it.

One of the best Horror movies I've seen so far.

It's impossible to take your eyes off the movie and I certainly recommend it.

Cold Creek Manor - R It was spectacular acting, very tense and extremely exciting which will keep you by the screen until the very end.
The only part that wasn't that well made was the part where they found loads of snakes in the whole house and going from a movie that doesn't start scary at all to suddenly finding snakes in all rooms all at the same time was a bit too much but otherwise I really enjoyed it.
