I recommend you see...Enjoyable holiday treat is a 3D feast for the eyes.
Disney's A Christmas Carol
by MarkGorgeous adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic is a 3D feast for the eyes. This slavishly faithful interpretation, is highlighted by effects so extraordinary, there are moments where it literally looks as if snow is falling in the theater. As recounted here, the story really takes its time and exhibits a dark moodiness, especially in the early scenes. In other parts, there are nightmarish images that are rather jolting for a PG rated film. Consequently, the film will please adults much more than it will entertain young children. However, for those that are patient, this atmospheric version of the classic tale is an enjoyable holiday treat.

I recommend you see...DragonEye: Nausicaa is slightly better but oh man, that was a fantastic ride, sorry i don't spare my ratings, hehe.
Sitenoise: dude, you gotta watch the original Japanese, dubbing always sucks, haven't you know that by now? ;)
for the rest, this is arguably a seminal work of animation in the 90's,beyond the scopes and confinements of "anime",Miyazaki's last true perfection with devious uses of antique Japanese folklore and mythical creatures,i find it incredibly hard to believe anyone would love Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away more than this, and if so,i'll need some good explanations about it...posted 2 days ago -
I recommend you see...Not as amazing as "The House with Laughing Windows", but still a Pupi Avati's great gothic horror!
L'Arcano incantatore (The Mysterious Enchanter) (Mysterious Encounter)
by MabelA splendid supernatural fairy-tale, rich in eerie and gothic atmosphere, with some genuinely creepy moments, fascinating characters and beautiful landscapes. After many years since "La casa dalle finestre che ridono" (1976) and "Zeder" (1983), Pupi Avati finally returns to the horror genre in 1996 with a unique and magical story of esotericism, religion, evil and death that's based on local believes and legends.
Rather slow but visually stunning and perfectly directed, "L'arcano incantatore" is a fine example that horror cinema can often be a very subtle art-form... Not a film for fans of Saw XIV or Halloween XXII, I guess.posted 3 days ago -
Come see this movie with me...Hey, you should really see this!
Michael Jackson's This Is It
by NicolaļNo more rumors that it wouldnt be MJ who was going to perform on his last shows, our that he didnt got 'it' anymore. He was fantastic, alive and kicking. Great docu/movie containing his rehearsels for his 'This is it' concerts. The movie gave me a total diffrent perspective about the king of pop, i didnt know he was that polite and friendly and he really was the artist, everything is his idea, the effects, the music, the dances, really everything.

Associated Press, November, 2009
HONG KONG - Zhang Yimou says his first movie in three years has shades of comedian Stephen Chow's outlandish humor and marks the first time the "Raise the Red Lantern" director shot in digital format.
In his first interview about his remake of Joel and Ethan Coen's 1984 film "Blood Simple," Zhang told Chinese portal Sina.com his adaptation is a comedy that morphs into a thriller.
"The audience is watching the movie happily, laughing out loud, then it slowly changes, but the transition has to be funny. That's very hard to do. I think I did a decent job. This is the first time I tried to bridge the two styles," Zhang said."posted 3 days ago -
