It was just ok...I mean, I usually like this kind of movie but for this one I wish they hadn't gone so over the top techno and stuck to more of the army stuff. For me it was I'M SO SURE!!

Parts okay, parts Pretty good, a little weird but a pretty interesting story....loved the music. Did not know that Bill Gates and Steve Jobs got to the top by scheming and cheating....not too surprised.

This is not the genre I normally get into, but I did read the book in school so I thought I would give the movie a shot, and WOW!! It drew me in and now it is one of my favorite movies! The characters are SO compelling, the acting is great, the musical score is fabulous, the cinematography breathtaking, and the story just won my heart! Not to mention one of the best LOVE stories ever!! I love the whole trilogy and I own all the extended versions. Now I can't wait for The Hobbit!! On "My Favorite Movies" & "My 5 Star Action/Adventures" lists. DVD.

This story happens to take place in 1957, the year I was born, but in Ireland :)......I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I just fell in love with this movie! Minnie Driver is great and she makes a cute couple with Chris O'Donnell.....then there's Colin Firth as a slimeball and Alan Cummings is a leche! But all in all.....it's a very sweet love story that teaches that you should be willing to wait for the one you love. I could watch this over and over! On "My Favorite Movies" & "My 5 Star Chick Flicks" lists. VHS.
