Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - R I am way to young to get the refrences or have a laugh at the drug trips. They weren't as comedic as Pineapple Express or more modern movies. I did find the acting to be great nd funny as hell. Although i've read the book the plot is still hazy. I again liked it, but would've liked it more if i'd been around during this time period. Sherlock Holmes - PG-13 A+ Thriller and Comedy! Action-packed and Laugh-Filled movie!

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law had a realistic friendship and a weird but amazing chemistry. Their awkward relasionship was funny and kept the plot twirling!

Rachel McAdams and Robert Downey Jr. also had a great chemistry (their's more romantic than Downey Jr.'s and Laws). All three actors were amazing. Their captured their characters in body language, facial expressions and thoughts.

The plot was a twisting and turning thriller that was worthy of Sherlock Holmes. The writing complimented the actors and the main idea of the movie.

Great direction! The special effects and credit art was amazingly done. I loved just watching the credits.

A must see ACTION PACKED COMEDY movie that will BLOW YOUR MIND OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Iron Man - PG-13 I'm not one for action movies but this movie is so amazing you can't resist!

Robert Downey Jr. is one of my favorite actors and this movie is one of those movies that convinced me how amazing he actually is. His acting was more than perfect for Tony Stark. Robert Downey Jr. pulled off the genius, sexy, billionaire, play-boy without making it seem forced. His overall ease at being who he was was really outstanding. I loved this performance and watched it over and over agian just to make sure it really was that good.

Gwyneth Paltrow was beautifully placed in this movie. She was funny yet made you really enjoy her presence on screen. She and Robert Downey Jr. had a real chemistry.

The plot was more than normal superhero movies. It rivals "The Dark Knight's" plot. It had something more than man tries to save the world while being undercover. It had a realistic man and his realistic dream-girl. There was something behind his ambitions. Why did he want to save the world? is one of those questions I always ask superman. But with Iron Man it's all there for a reason.

BRAVO to the writers, director, and to the entire cast for taking my expectations and blowing them so far away in this thrilling, comedy, acting trio of perfection.

(500) Days of Summer - PG-13 Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel had great chemistry and that was the inciting incident that set this movie rolling. And once this movie started it never stopped. The non-chronological order of the dates in this movie made it all the better. The way the relasionship progressed yet halted and changed was easier to see from different orders.

The acting skills were great and realistic. The plot was written so wonderfully and realistically. I loved how it showed the real life aspect of love and how it isn't definate and can change. What is love? Where does it come from? How does it happen? The questions people ask are shown through this amazing film.

A MUST SEE

Twilight - PG-13 It was average for the 'made for teens' lets look at the hott new guy movie. I didn't enjoy it all that much, and overall the good actors who were in this movie had their skills go to waste. December 29, 2009

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - PG-13 This movie has more potential than any other movie i've seen in quite some time. It has four of the biggest names out there-- Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law-- and a great director, Terry Gilliam.

After watching this movie there was only one reason I felt 1 out of 100 percent disappointed. The choice for Anton. He sends you the wrong message and when the movie roles out and shows you the true characters and the ending you feel like it was a dishonor to the actors. Like they weren't choosen completely right because how could you ever feel that way about them?

But the 99 percent approval came from multiple places.

1. The acting.
Heath Ledger always has a charm and a humor about him that is one of a kind. This movie has so many great things, but my favorite by far was Heath. His portrail of the character Tony was definatly a bright one. He had a smile and a look that made you melt. His acting job was superb and realistic. May he rest in peace. This memory of him will be a good memory.

Johnny Depp, though his part was particullary small, played his role with a great conviction. He brought more to the character of Tony. He started to unravil the character with a slight ease and charm. His performance wasn't the best, but it was a great addition to his long line of wonderful performances.

Jude Law had a bigger part than Johnny Depp but still, by far, a smaller role than most of the rest of the cast. He, too, played his part as Tony with grace and ease. The story needed great actors to play Tony because the character becomes more and more revealed during each transformation. I think the choice of Jude Law added a quirky yet subtly menacing. It added greatlly to the story line.

Colin Farrell was the perfect choice for Tony's third transformation because he reaked of menace, and did it well. His portrail of the character and his struggles finished the movie well. He wasn't the best actor, but his acting was good.

Lily Cole definatly seems older than sixteen and that stopped me from getting into the movie 100%. But her acting skills and her overall dedication to the character made the movie worth watching. Their is no movie if Valentina isn't a good enough actress. Luckily she was.

Christopher Plummer was a great actor but the character had a few holes. The character could've been written a tad better but Plummer worked with what he had and that's something to be admired.

Verne Troyer was funny and unique. What he brought to the movie was a comedic relief. it was a funny movie but Verne was a truely funny character. He was great and didn't bother using his shortness to help himself and the movie.

2. The special effects
This movie is literally nothing if the special effects are bad or are cheesey. This movie has everything to do with the unreal and the magical side of the imagination that lurks beneath our realistic shells. Every thing that went on in the imaginarium was out of this world and beyond anything you can find on location or any set you can make and the fact that the actors can work so beautifully when nothing is there is a priceless quality.

3. The plot

The plot was well written and had a great main idea. I would've written a few characters just a tad differently though because at the end of the movie you feel different connections to different characters that really don't seem right. But besides the slight character miss, the plot was outstanding. It was so creative and outside the box. It wasn't another action-adventure or horror or romantic-comedy, it was something more than reality.

Overall this movie was one of the best movies i've seen in 2009 and you really need to give it a sporting chance.

The Ugly Truth - R Not as hilarious as it could've been but still down right funny. Good acting job and the plot was predictable yet heartwarmingly funny none the less. GOOD JOB. A good date movie-- makes you see the best in people December 21, 2009

The Hangover - R One of the funniest movies ever. I can't even believe I waited for DVD.

Each actor was so insanely funny and so serious at the same time that it was hard to keep a straight face while watching them. The plot fit them each perfectly. Their characters were almost designed for them.

The plot was perfectly imperfect. It was random and regular at the exact same time. Some was predictable but most was rightout random.

EXCELLENT. A MUST SEE

The Twilight Saga: New Moon - PG-13 Better than the last Twilight movie. The acting was decent, but the interpritation of the book was loose. The plot lacked, and it felt like the long movie was thirty minutes. Again good acting. The location and makeup was good. I didn't care for the special effects though-- again too cheesey. The Bucket List - PG-13 There are some movies in life that inspire you not only to feel happy and sad but to make a difference in someone else's life because that is what the world deserves.

This is one of those movies.

Jack Nicholson is a powerful actor. He always is. He takes the simpliest or most complicated roles and makes them more than they could possibly be. This is one of those roles. He makes this character come to life. He's predictable but not all at the same time. You feel like you know him in a peculiar way.

Morgan Freeman is the same type of man. He grows on you. His characters are the same. This character-- Carter-- grew on me. I felt when he felt, I cried when he cried. Everything about Morgan Freeman's performance had me on my feet applauding at the end.

Sean Hayes is a great comedian, and he keeps this emotional picture grounded with a great comedic performance. He keeps up with too matured amazing and classic actors.

The story was a premise many people can relate to and will enjoy, just because of the way it's depicted. BRAVO!
The direction and the script are amazing, and every actor brings more than required to the table. This is definatly worth the time.

Quarantine - R I prefer Rec ten times over Quarantine, only because Quarantine is the exact same movie just remade into English, changing names and locatios accordingly.
The camera work was superb. Taking a simple action and amplifying it. Also having the camera be in someone's hands changes the way the filming and the events are viewed. This was truely a realistic job.

I loved the acting, the script, the plot, and the overall premise. It's a real horror movie, that puts you on the edge of your seat while still allowing you to feel the physcilogical and thrilling elements most of the gorier movies don't have. This is a movie I recomend for those who are just a little bit too comfortable in their new apartment building. Thank me later {=

But overall a beautifully made and perfectly plotted movie that all children and adults can love until the day they die.

[Rec] - R This movie is catagorized as horror, but I would call it... a thrilling suspsenceful mystery movie. It's definatly thrilling, it's definatly supspense, and well it is 100% a mystery, and even the end leaves you with a dazed and confused after glow. You know what happened, but.... could it be? You don't have the time to really think it over before you know what a great movie you've just seen.

The actors are all superb and fit their roles down to the last detail. Each character was a realistic recomposition of regular people-- some steriotypes, some not. The over character was a selfish and relentless character striving to survive. But like in life there was one who was trying to save everyone else no matter what the cost.

The horror was great because it showed up, as was gorey, but not to the extent where you have to look away in utter disgust. It was done tastefully for the style of movie. The mosters are scariest because in some sense you can see them really coming to a fruition.

The plot was magnificant! Each scene brought new terrors, new questions, new deaths, and more questions.

The writing, direction and costumes were all done into the style to movie was going for. Each character wore what they would really wear, the directoin was definatly better than Parnormal Activity and Cloverfield yet it had the same affect. The writing was done in a realistic yet chilling way that gave the effect maybe one of them knew what was happening.

I loved this movie. It was great and there will never be a movie that lives up to, although both Quarantine and Paranormal Activity try, they don't live up to a single percentage of this wonderfully profound and inspired horror classic.

DON'T WATCH IT IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO WATCH IT IN SPANISH WITH SUBTITLES. THE SPANISH IS WHAT MAKES IT SO REALISTIC.

Friday the 13th - R The acting was pretty medicore and the plot was at best pointless. The violence and murders were creativly filmed and planned, yet why? There is always the question why lingering in the air, even after the end of the film.

The characters are well developed but for no apparent reason, you find no connection with the characters and if you did it wouldn't matter.

See it if you like classic horror, becuase the elements are mostly 'classic-horror-masterpiece'. It's an okay scare, but only for the jump factor.... if any.

Keith - PG-13 I didn't have high standards for this one, but it turned out pretty great.

The acting was pretty dramatic and perfect.

I loved Jesse McCartney's Keith, it was a wonderfully created character and life.

The script and the settings combined to create an epic story for the ages.

We're here in a yellow truck a road ahead of us and nothing but opportunities

HILARIOUS AND TEAR-ENVOKING. Up to the standards of A Walk to Remember!
