1.
Pulp Fiction
R
This movie changed the way I look at movies and brought in the golden era of independent film..... before Hollywood started calling about anything an independent film. Still though, I can't say enough about this movie.
3.
The Big Lebowski
R
There is nothing that I don't like about this movie. When it comes to dialogue, Nothing comes close to Coen Brothers and Tarantino movies. I shudder to think about what could be crafted should those three ever collaborate.
5.
Léon (The Professional)
R
Is there a more sinister man in Hollywood than Gary Oldman? Seriously, the guy makes Walken look like the Easter Bunny. Great performances from Jean Reno and Natalie Portman in this one as well.
6.
Kill Bill: Volume 1
R
Tarantino could film monkeys flinging their own droppings at each other for 2 hours and it would still be better than most other movies out there. Luckily, this isn't a monkey movie. It's a kick-ass samurai revenge flick.

Ben X
by SerdarNic Balthazar directs his first movie adapted from his own novel. The story is familiar but interesting and the acting is very good. The original aspect of this movie is its cinematography. The director manages to pull us into the world he puts his character to, in a mixture of reality and the fantasy. Ben is a troubled young boy who is picked on all the time..He plays an online video game and identifies with the character he creates there. But real life is bitter and real people are so cruel.. Can Ben put up with this or should he end the game? Can his parents and the girl he meets on the game help him to go on?
Hey, you should really see this!

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring
by SerdarWow, what a great piece of cinema! Kim Ki-duk is, with no doubt, one of the most creative auteurs of today and this may be his best film so far. He uses very little dialogs in his films but manages to show us very well-developed characters. This movie is wonderfully written and beautifully shot.
Slow paced story takes place in a deserted tample on a lake. An old monk lives there with a young boy and teaches him the disciplines to be a monk. When a young girl comes to the temple to seek cure for her sickness, the young boy discovers his desire for the opposite sex. At that point, the old monk says the key sentence of the movie: "Lust awakens the desire to possess. And that awakens the intent to murder."
The use of symbolism is quite intense in this film but you don't have to be the master of Budism to catch on as the story is simply universal. Unless you are one of the knights that say Ni to slow paced films with very little dialogs, check out this modest masterpiece..Hey, you should really see this!
