Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
PG-13
I was very pleasently suprised by The Crystal Skull it follows on from the first three perfectly and manages to keep the same tone which many sequals lack when made years later. The same buddy movie styling is sed here and the addition of Shia LeBeouf makes the as enjoyable in the familyy stakes as The Last Crusade. The ending felt weird but not too wierd to be out of place.
The Lookout
R
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of if not the most under rated actor around since his 3rd Rock days he has continued to star in many a great movie and his performances are never a let down. Another strng performance in The Lookout a great thriller with a twist that makes it unique. Can't wprk out how it got into the UK under the radar tho.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2)
PG-13
I enjoyed Hellboy 2 it was very much the same as the first, it didnt blow me away but was a good wat to spend a couple of hours. Ron Perlman is perfect casting as Hellboy i couldnt imagine anyone else playing the part. My fav scene was Red and Abe in the Can't Smile Without You pure class.
Vampires
R
Vampire's is a decent attempt at the much tried fang flick, Focusing more on the hunters than the actual Vampires themselves works as a positive altho we don't really get to know the characters too well. The action scenes don't actually last very long but what there is is enjoybale.
The Onion Movie
Unrated
The Onion Movie is much better suited t o a television series its just a collection of sketches connected through a newsreader. The sketches themselves are usually less funny than you expect but i do like the topics they choose to use not much is left untouched.
Jumper
PG-13
I really enjoyed Jumper which i didn't expect at all, I'm not a fan of Hayden Christiansen but in this he is both likeable and does well. The story is good fun and is translated to the screen well. Samuel L. Jackson is pretty standard and fails to shine in his role but Jamie Bell is fine form.

1.
Scream
R
One of the most important pop culture movies of all time i would say, this movie manages to be a serious self parody which is a an impressive thing. Great cast one of if not the best horror ever.
2.
The Big Lebowski
R
Cohens at their best. Bridges at his best. Great support great soundtrack awesome movie. The Dude is king
3.
Elizabethtown
PG-13
Cameron Crowe brings his excellent idealistic character to a more romantic setting. The kooky Dunst and the down Bloom brings different sparks to this film, Dunst potraying a somewhat kooky perfect woman and Bloom a down on his luck could be perfect suiter. The chemistry is there thanks in no small way to Crowe's writing. Have to also mention the outstanding soundtrack.
5.
Con Air
R
My favourite action movie and in my view one of the bets action movies ever. Great cast with John Malkovich and Steve Buscemi really shining as cons.
6.
The Doors
R
As a massive The Doors fan i can give Val Kilmer two thumbs up as this is an excellent performance quite possibly his career high point. The supporting cast are all goof but Morrison is the star of the story so they are pushed back. Another compelling story put to film by Stone as only he could, excellent!
