A Feelgood football movie, based on a true story, that has less to do with football and more to do with the milk of human kindness. Bordering on sacherin in places - and how factually accurate this film is is hard to determine - but taken at face value its a positive film with the best of intentions. Well worth a punt.

This film does everything you could possibly want it to. It shines with stunning vistas, dazzles with amazing cgi and astounds with the best use of 3D ever seen on the big screen. The plot is classic action/adventure with shades of prince of thieves, brave heart, et al and it hits just the right tone overall. Yes it does hammer home some of its points a little unnecessarily hard but that does not detract at all from what is the cinematic experience of 2009. Dont miss it.
