Last Chance Harvey
PG-13
Very realistic to every day life and brillent, natural acting. A loveable romance that everyone wants to see bond in relationship and within a film. Two brillent characters played by Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson. Emma Thompson is just a fabulous brillent british actress and a fond favourite of mine. This film shows how two very individual, independant and very different lives, live out their daily routine and how there life is going separtley from one another having from not met yet.
He is Americian she is British, he is a lot older than she is. Dustin Hoffman'a character is a lonely old man writing jingles for adverts. He lives in America now and his family and Emma Thompson's all live in London even though his family are also Americian. He is trying to head for his daughters wedding and realsies how such afamily has grown very different apart from him. There is a new man that his ex-wife is seeing called Brain and it seems with him everyone is ignoring Dustin Hoffman's character.
Emma Thompson's character is single, alone and going on some blind dates. Her mother lives alone and is also lonely and spies on the foreigner next door who is lifting large objects into his shed. It shows every day life can lead you to meet the love of your life, it so realistic to my daily to travels to Bath Spa Uni that I am surprised I have not met my lover of life on the bus or train yet. I recommend to all romantic dramer lovers, but I do warn you it is a bit slow, but beatifully good. For ages 14+ as they will understand and like it better. There is nothing rude or goury or sexually wrong about it,
