Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009,  PG)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
OK so Being a HUGE HP fan...i was again slightly disappointed in this film..the graphics were awesome...BUT the screwed up the Story MAJOR!!! They left out a key sub plot with the mayor and fudge!!! seemed a bit choppy with what was going on...and the way that one of the characters who died was completly WRONG! and then the ending again...wasnt done right...BUT it was Still Very much a Great film! not looking forward to the final one...considering that they split it into TWO movies! GGGRR Gone with the wind is almost 4 hours long and they didnt split that!!! *sigh*

Mamma Mia! (2008,  PG-13)
Mamma Mia!
Ok I will say the bad stuff first...Now although I FULLY LOVED THE FILM...They still could have picked better actors then Pierce Brosnan and COlin Firth(But he makes up for his lack of singing in the twist ending!)
Other then that...it was interesting to see the guy from Pirates(bootstrap bill) sing and dance...! THank GOD it wasnt much...Now for the Rest of the movie I found it AMAZINGLY FUN! THe Dialouge was hilarious, Merle Streep was the backbone in singing sensation, Amanda was Perfect for the daughter and Christine B. and Julie W. Were astounding as their characters. It is Definatly a Chick Flick...and It made you want to get up and dance in the theatre and sing out loud(which i did) and it was really a fantaboluse film. One i will see again and again and drive my mother nuts! Cant wait to see if it will be a single or duo DVD...bonus stuff would be GREAT! OH Yeah and Of course I love ABBA so all the songs were great...it was amazing how many they didnt...use that were originally in the stage play. And the soundtrack left out one of the best songs Chiquitita So yeah i thought being all that it was it DESERVED 9 stars~~~

Twilight (2008,  PG-13)
Twilight
although its not 100 % close its more of 78% correct from the book...I put that aside and watched it and LOVED it! Cuz if you think about it, No book made movie has ever been close...unless it was about history and even there are mistakes in that too!!! But the closness between characters is sooo mezmerizing its addictive! I cant wait for New Moon!!!!
12
Dogville (2003,  R)
Dogville
What an oustanding movie!

It shows what acting is supposed to be like...no flash...no set...a few outlines and just plane ol' stage presence!

The first 10 minutes i wasnt to sure if i could stay awake...BUT i did and it was SO worth it! I recommend it to anyone who is up for something different!

THE beggining...was iffy
the MIDDLE was interesting

and the THE END! OMG such a powerful ending...even though i again say there is NO SETS...its just a stage and a few props...like Our Town...

Just SEE IT!
