Jumper - PG-13 Garbage. There was no redeeming quality in this flick at all. September 10, 2008

The Dark Knight - PG-13 I don't see how they top Heath in a 3rd one. Thought this was much better than Batman Begins. Might be worth just leaving it at that. But you know they won't. September 10, 2008

WALL-E - G Fantastic. July 18, 2008

Rambo (Rambo IV) - R Rambo got the violence that'll make you say DAMN! Rambo got the gore that'll make you say DAMN! July 15, 2008

The Brothers Solomon - R Sorry. I just love Will Arnett too much. Their stupidity had me laughing alot. Yes. It's like Dumb & Dumber. But I still laughed. July 15, 2008

Hard Candy - R I wish I had not known much about this - it would have smacked me in the face even more. I wish I could get some questions answered.. but I like it when a good discussion gets generated out of a movie. This had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next the entire time. Some of the parts at the end were a little "eh" but I was thoroughly entertained throughout this one. For me, I wasn't questioning whose side to be on, etc -- I just wanted to see what happened. Don't really see how you can be on one side or the other in this one. July 15, 2008

Lucky Number Slevin - R A good popcorn flick. It moves along quickly. It has good bits of humor mixed into the mystery of what's going on, which starts to become clear before it's revealed. July 15, 2008

The Host (Gwoemul) - R I was expecting something different. That really killed this for me. Watched it with the english dub, which just made me laugh alot even when I shouldn't have been. Didn't like the monster effects. Didn't feel like the "panic" stuff really played into all that much; or the virus stuff. The best stuff had to do with the two kids but not enough to save it. July 15, 2008

Shooter - R I really didn't expect to like this that much but I was presently surprised. Mark Wahlberg worked pretty well in this role. I thought the supporting cast was kinda weak but.. eh. It was enjoyable. July 15, 2008

In the Company of Men - R By the end of this movie, Aaron Eckhart's character is revealed to be an even bigger asshole than at the start. And he pulls it off well. I'm really digging this fella's work. July 15, 2008

Great World of Sound - R I really dug this one. Couldn't look away. Very funny (but sad). July 15, 2008

Eagle vs. Shark - R Heheh- Jemaine Clement was a riot in this. Without him, I don't know how much I would have enjoyed it but with him, I laughed alot. July 15, 2008

Brick - R What an interesting mashup: film noir set in a high school. It's well done too. The way it's done, two ideas that don't seem like they go together work out great. July 15, 2008

Rescue Dawn - PG-13 Christian Bale. Once again- this guy is among my favorite working actors. Jeremy Davies is also great in this (and I freaked out seeing another LOSTIE in here, I won't ruin it if you don't know) .. I was surprised at how much comedy they were able to mix throughout this movie. At times, it's very grim. July 15, 2008

The Deaths of Ian Stone - R It starts off as an interesting idea but.. blah. I dunno if I want to watch any more of those Horrorfest movies. July 15, 2008

The Sasquatch Gang (The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang) - Unrated Okay. This is the second movie I've seen recently where Justin Long was the clear highlight. That's... a little strange to me. July 15, 2008

Zodiac - R Interestingly done and a few of the deaths are just brutal. It's all fast-paced at first and then characters start to fall out until only one character is really left - which makes sense. In my eyes, the movie was really about him. July 15, 2008

Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story - Unrated I thought this was absolutely hilarious - Corddry is great. But the real show stealer here in Rob Riggle. I laughed every time he showed up in the movie. Hard. July 15, 2008

Transformers - PG-13 This wasn't nearly as bad as some had me believe it would be. I really didn't care about all the nitpicky stuff... BUT- it would have been nice if the robots had been it more - especially the Decepticons. They just kind of show up just in time to get their ass kicked. July 15, 2008

Evan Almighty - PG All things considering, I enjoyed this more than I expected to. Carrell is certainly getting typecasted, though, isn't he? July 15, 2008

Semi-Pro - R It's a comedy movie.. without the comedy. Genius. The setup had potential. June 27, 2008
