Roman Holiday - Unrated From Audrey Hepburn's charming and elegant beauty, to Gregory Peck's deep intoxicating voice, and to adventures in Italy's Rome, "Roman Holiday" is a classic that's sure to make you smile.

Sure I was disappointed in the end (blame it on all the misleading fairytales Hollywood gives use.), but this is what I call a realistic ending!

(500) Days of Summer - PG-13 I might be slightly bias towards this movie, because ever since I first saw the trailer a few months back, I was determined to love this movie. Mainly because I saw Joseph Gordon-Levitt looking mighty fiiiine. (I haven't seen much of him since 10 things and 3rd rock)

Forgive my fangirl logic, and I promise you, that rarely happens, But yes, after finally watching the movie, I'm did come out loving it, now because it wasn't at all a love story, like the narrator said, but a story of a relationship, and how it didn't work, and how it's not the end of someone's world.

And though I still lalalalove JGL, he's not my type after all. (I like broader shoulders. aaww.)

I wonder who Jenny Beckman is though... XD

Coraline - PG I was creeped out by the book when I read it.

I was a little apprehensive when I heard that some changes were done to the story in the film, and as a personal preference, I wanted the film to be live-action.

But oh well, I loved Nightmare Before Christmas, so I still went ahead and watched it.

Because of my slight book purist bias, I didn't like Wybie in the first scene. but as the movie progress, I started to appreciate the character more and more. I also thought the change from Bobo to Bobinsky was good. I always thought Bobo was a weird, awkward name.

And dude, the button-eyes are CREEPY. imagining them while reading the book was one thing, actually having than visual is something else.

Yes. the movie was definitely creepy.

Rak haeng Siam (The Love of Siam) - Unrated Loved it!

In terms of technicality, it's not the greatest movie, but the story was simple, and I commend the young actors, they were great! except for that Donut girl, she's pretty but I got nothing from her.

My one problem with this movie is that it runs almost 3 hours long!

Shonen merikensakku (The Shonen Merikensack) - PG To tell you the truth, I only became curious to watch this because of the poster, and because it stars Aoi Miyazaki. Then the premise itself, about middle-aged men doing punk rock, seems like a funny story, but it didn't do it for me.

It's weird because halfway through the movie, I decided to stop and do more productive things, since I wasn't supposed to be watching anything because of there's school work piling up. But during then, I checked out some reviews of Shonen, and a lot of them positive, one going as far as saying it's one of the best comedies he's seen in a long while.

I disagree, although it has it's funny moments, it's just not what I'll ever consider "one of the best."

How to Lose Friends & Alienate People - R it's your typical comedy, and simon pegg is still funny (love him in Shawn of the Dead) but somehow none of the characters are that likeable. September 6, 2009

Exit No. 6 (Liu hao chu kou) - Unrated I rated this more than three stars all because of technicality.

It could've been a great plot! it's a shame a bad script ruined it. and the lead actresses aren't very good.
