The Nativity Story - PG Beautiful story of God's love for all humanity. He sent His "Only Son" to be born, suffered, crucified, and died for our sins. May we be born with Him in the Sacrament of baptism, unite our suffering to His, and die to ourselves, so that we may be able to experience His ressurection now and at the end of our life on earth.

Beautiful story of God's unconditional love for His people. He sent His only Son to be born, suffer, and die for them. Following Jesus' example, may we die to sin and to ourselves for only then will we be able to rise with Him as well.

He entered the world in humility and poverty (as a poor babe) to draw both the poor (represented in the poor shepherds) and the rich (the three wise men) to Himself. In the same way, He left the world weak, humble, and empty-handed (in His nakedness) teaching us that we must enter heaven through the narrow gate-through humility, selflessness, and sacrificial love which stripped us off all sins and earthly passions and desires! What a love! What a love! My very own heart can't grasp and fathom such a love!

Come Lord Jesus, help me to experience a glimpse of the heavenly Jerusalem through Your love. Give me peace, the peace that the world can't give. The peace that is found in you and you alone! The peace, strength, and wisdom to cope with and understand the meaning of life as well as my own life. The peace and wisdom to see life through the eyes of heaven and know that I am cherished and loved for who I am, a child of yours, the fruit of your Fatherly love, and that I don't have to be someone else, but just be myself-the very child you created in my mother's womb for great things-to serve You, love You and be loved by You and someday be with you and my loved ones in heaven for ever and ever, amen.

The Passion of the Christ - R True story of God's merciful love for all mankind. May we respond to His love, experience His peace, joy, and love here on earth and be united with Him in Heaven someday. There was no dry eye in the theater where I saw "The Passion of The Christ." The most moving, touching and inspiring movie of our century. "Jesus, I love you. Have mercy on us poor sinners. Teach us to love all human life from the unborn to the elderly, even those on death row. Help us transform the cultue of death inot a culture of Life. Blessed Mother Mary. Your great fiat has brought the Messiah into our world. Pray for us to always say "Yes" to the life thay God has placed in the womb knowing that God has a plan for every unborn baby. May with great faith in His divine plan, give life to the unborn who has no voice but ours-whose right to is being ternimated and taken away by the evil of abortion.

I will never forget the atmosphere at the theater where I saw the "The Passion of the Christ." It felt as though I was attending the funeral of a famous celebrity. Beside the over-flowing crowd, every eye in the room was filled with tears. No, I was not at a funeral of a famous celebrity; I was actually watching the true life-story of the MOST famous celebrity who brought light and goodness into the world and instilled in the human heart unconditional love, something the world needs the most.

While weeping with the audience, at the same time, I found myself also praying for two things: the forgiveness of my many sins and evil doings and for those of others and thanksgiving for such a love which my very own heart couldn't grasp and fathom.

As I watched the Mother of Jesus standing at the foot of the Cross of her Son broken-hearted and sorrowful, yet, with a posture that demonstrated her great love for God and faith in His Holy will for her and her Son, I was overwhelmingly inspired and felt helplessly thankful and, indeed, filled with admiration for such a woman--a mother like myself, but totally different in how God prepared her from the moment of her conception. Unlike a sinful woman like myself, she is the special woman foretold by God in the book of Genesis during the fall of Adam and Eve, whom God declared "full of grace" through His messenger, the angel Gabriel, at the annunciation. God created her immaculately with a special heart and womb which are most holy and graced to nurture, protect, and love God's very own Son. The Blessed Mother Mary is the very first tabernacle of the Holy Eucharist, the "Ark" of the "New Covenant"--God's masterpiece!!

"Oh Most Holy Mary our mother, please intercede for us poor sinners to your Son, just as you interceded for the needy married couple at the wedding at Cana. As the mother of the Savior who asked the apostles to do whatever your Son instructed them to do to help the needy new married couple, help us to do the same, to follow the wishes of your Son with undivided heart. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

You must see this movie. From it, you will learn the true meaning of love! Love is being misused and misinterpreted in our time. Watch this movie and educate and re-educate yourself on what love truly means!!

Love is not selfish and self-seeking. Love is unconditional and seeks out for the good of the other. God is love! The relationship that is founded on God's grace and holiness is indeed founded on LOVE!

To learn about the "TRUE" meaning of love, I invite all of you my friends and readers to watch this movie. Here is my website: http://www.flixster.com/user/nasgdgjmj

Sex and the City - R Not interested. Movies like this is very dangerous to the human body, mind, and soul! Holywood must start making movies that convey good morals and values. With STDs like HIV and AIDS, it is time to wake up and educate chastity, purity, and abstinence to the unmarried youth and young adults the 100% cure for Sexual Transmitted Diseases like HIV and AIDS and the 100% protected and healthy birth control there is. May God bless you all my friends! Stay out of trouble and have good and most blessed week. September 28, 2008

Juno - PG-13 I recommend this movie. Aside from its many use of foul language which I don't quite agree with, the movie itself is very educational and realistic. It teaches the viewer many life lessons and the importance of being responsible when it comes to respecting our bodies and the gift of sexuality as intended by God. This gift is intended for the Sacrament of Marriage, for the married couple to first unify their married love and then seal it with the gift of children, the fruit of their marital union. In the story of Creation, God told Adam and Eve to be fertile and mutiply. God continues to tell married couple to do the same; and to those who are not married, He says, keep your body chaste and pure. And to those who are carrying a life in their wombs, He says,
" trust me I knew your baby, before I formed him/her in your womb (Jermiah 1:5). Turn to me with great trust in my divine providence and I will help you like no other. In me and with me, all things are possible. I have a plan for your unborn child and for you. Tomorrow is a new day. Look beyond your present situation-your anxiety, anger, frustration, hopelessness, material poverty, joblessness, feeling of abandonement, hardships, anguish, pain, sorrow, fear...take my hand and I will take you through, for I am the Creator of the child in your womb. He is a gift from me to you and to the world. I have a plan for him. I am his faithful father. I love both you and him for both of you are my children-the fruit of my fatherly love. Open your heart and receive my un-divided and unconditional love."

The moral behind the movie is upholding and respecting the dignity and sanctity of all human life, especially the unborn who is not a piece of tissue but a growing and developing human being with a complete DNA. Just as the born human being goes through certain stages of life, from an infant to an elderly, so it is the same with the unborn baby whose life starts from the very moment of conception (as verified by science) to the day he enters the world and continues to grow into an adult.

This is a must see movie for youth (teenagers to young adults). It teaches the lesson that respecting the gift of sexuality, keeping our bodies pure and chaste, is a must and necessity, and one must do it for his/her own good and benefit and those of others and society in general. The gift of sexuality must be saved for the Sacrament of Martimony, for marriage. When this special gift is misused, there are devastating and deadly consequences, such as, psychological, emotional, spiritual problems, and even physical health issues-HIV and AIDS and STDs "sexually transmitted diseases (some think that using condoms will prevent them from getting these diseases, but recent research along with witnesses of AIDS and HIV victims confirm that condoms are not 100% safe and protected and that one must practice chastity and abstinence to avoid HIV and AIDS and STDs), breast cancer, blood clot which can be serious, and cervical cancer, etc. as a result of the use of artificial contraceptions like the bill, diaphram, the shot, etc.; even sterilization and abortion (with abortion to an even greater and serious degree which includes the very possibility of death) have the same deadly consequences as artificial contraception. The use of artificial contraception is a license to the abuse of the gift of sexuality.

Once again, Abortion and the use of artificial contraceptives lead to psychological, emotional, and spiritual problems. Both abortion and artificial contraceptives, according to recent research, lead to woman health problems like breast cancer, cervical cancer, even mental disturbances and depression. The divorce rate in the modern world has sky-rocketed ever since the introduction of artificial contraception in the married and family life. Divorce and the use of birth control are connected. All marriages must be open to the blessing of children, the "fruit" of the marital love. A married couple that is not open to children and uses contraception or even worse, aborts its children, will likely end in divorce down the road!

Many abortion victims (mothers of all ages who aborted their unborn babies), sexually active teen-agers and young adults, and users of artificial birth controls experience and suffer great depression, suicidal attempts-psychological and spiritual disturbances.

For more on the unborn, see my other comments on the movie, "Narnia." May God bless you and keep you safe from both physical and spiritual harm. Married couple must practice Natural Family Planning, God's way of spacing pregnancies (if necessary) instead of birth control. Natural Family Planning is when the married couple goes by the wife's fertile and infertile cycle-God's natural way of spacing children. It is very healthy and it won't lead to woman's health issues. It is chemical free. It is natural and is highly recommended by good doctors and the Catholic Church. To find out more on Natural Family Planning, you can just google Natural Family Planning and look up websites that advocates Natural Family Planning the best and one and only healthy way to space pregnancies.

Marie de Nazareth (Mary of Nazareth) - Unrated I would recommend this movie to people of all walks of life. This is the story of the life of the Virgin of Nazareth whom God picked to be the Mother of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Being a young girl, the choice to do God's will in her life must not be easy. She was engaged to a good and just man, Joseph and had a good future laid out for her. Yet, when the angel Gabriel approached her calling her, "Full of Grace-God's favorite one" inviting her to cooperate with God's plan of salvation for all mankind, and abandon her own, she was troubled for she has planned to remain a virgin forever for God. She was not sure how to respond to such a greeting and proposal. It was her humility, simplicity, faith and love for God that helped her to say "Yes-her great fiat" to the supernatural invitation from heaven. At that moment, man's salvation was in her very hands-to bring the Redeemer into the world. God was counting on her to help Him with His plan to safe the world. Everything stood still that very moment. Angels in heaven watched to see how the Virgin would respond to God's invitation. The Blessed Virgin is just as human as all of us, however, she was created by God without the original sin, for God prepared her to be the Mother of His Son-to be the channel of His grace (Jesus Christ) into the world, to be the bridge that connects heaven and earth, the tabernacle of the New Covenant. To read about the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, you must read and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the 3rd book of Genesis-the story of the fall of Man, especially the words of God to the serpent who caused Adam and Eve to fall. (Genesis 3:15)

Inspired by the faith, humility, and love of the Virgin Mary of Nazareth, for God and for all mankind, may we follow her example of faith in divine providence and always say, "Yes" to God when He invites us to help Him carry out a certain mission in the Church on earth for the sake of mankind-to be a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. God bless you all.

Pope John Paul II - The Story of a Holy Life - Unrated Pope John Paul the great! You must see this movie to learn how to see the hands of God in the midst of life's trials, struggles, hardships, and sorrows. Raised by his father after the death of his mother at a young age "only a little boy" witnessed the death of his only brother and father, young Karol (Pope John Paul II) a handsome, intelligent, and talented actor, persevered in holiness finding only the hands of God in all that was happening in his life, and with an open heart allowed God's divine providence and grace to guide him to the consecrated priesthood and religious life, not knowing that God had a even bigger plan for him--to courageously lead the Church into the third millenium as Pope John Paul II amidst all sorts of attacks and persecutions from both ends. After he survived the bullet that almost took his life, Pope John Paul II emerged as Pope John Paul the great who taught the whole Church how to live and how to die! A man of his word, he is one of my great heroes who stands up to the influence of the Culture of death fearlessly and teach us all how important and valuable we are in the eyes of our Creator who created us for great things...to love and be loved, in spite of our differences, weaknesses and strengths!! John Paul II, I love you!

I invite you all to read other documents on the holy life of Pope John Paul II and his successor right now, Pope Benedict XVI. You will be inspired by the story of the lives of these two holy servants of God-Vicar of Christ on earth! May God bless you!!
