Ghost Rider

I really enjoyed this - had fantastic special effects as I originally saw in the ads. The storyline was great, and even Nic Cage escaped from his normally wooden acting and gave something to the role. Definitely worth paying the money to see it at the movies, and would watch it again happily.
Transformers
PG-13
I was a bit skeptical that it could live up to expectations that I had from watching the cartoons on Saturday mornings when I was growing up (alongside He-man and She-ra), but I really enjoyed this. Fantastic special effects. A good storyline... and some great acting from Shia LaBeouf. Josh Duhamel was easy to look at too! It was fantastic having aussie Rachael Taylor in the movie and this time she actually put across some great acting and a good character, unlike when she was in man-thing which I think everybody who was in that has to apologise to the general public. Anyway, safe to say we'll be purchasing this on DVD when it comes out. A shame that Spielberg didn't push to get local Canberra band, Meatbee's version of the song in the flick. Oh well, they released it anyway and it's very good. Here's their website http://www.meatbee.com/downloads.html. That's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars! It would have made the movie that much better.
