| Hotaru no haka (Grave of the Fireflies) - Unrated |
This is a heart wrenching tale of a young boy and his little sister trapped in the midst of constant air-raids and deaths. Everything they knew was stripped from them. Their families, their homes, and their sense of security. What to say? The story is technically slow, and really doesn't go anywhere beyond the boy and sister. There's no action scenes, no fight between the 'good' and the 'bad. But that's what makes it so amazing. Bugs, rashes, starvation, death. Unlike most animes I have seen, these two kids become more weathered and desperate the more time goes on. Really, this is what I'd call perfection to an anime movie. I loved it. |

| The Aristocats - G | It has some appeal to it, I'll admit. As a child, I really liked it. However, now the voices grate on me and the animation is somewhat annoying, too. Good for a rainy day, but not one of Disney's best. | January 3, 2009 | N/A | |||

| The Lion King - G |
I /still/ cry when Simba's father dies. It's absolutely heartbreaking. I love how they don't sugarcoat everything is a sea of unrealistic happiness. Mufasa was betrayed by his own blood. Scar is sadistic, but yet not corny. It deals with death. That's not a bad thing. |

| Monsters, Inc. - G | ADORABLE movie that is a fantastic watch for people of any age. I laughed ... I cried. Pixar is showing off their genius again, and I hope they keep it up | November 30, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - PG-13 | I enjoyed it, but it lacked the charm of the other movies. And I wish they followed the book more closely, there were some scenes I really wish they had included in this movie. Overall, I thought it was an okay film. | November 30, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Star Trek - Nemesis - PG-13 | I liked it alright, but ... it didn't have the best story, and Data dying was a horrible, horrible end to TNG. | November 27, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Star Trek - First Contact - PG-13 | FANTASTIC Star Trek movie. By far the best of any of them, TOS or TNG. The story is brilliant. You have to love Data and Picard. | November 27, 2008 | N/A | |||
| The Mask - PG-13 |
This movie is hilarious. Jim's acting is great, as always. This is one of my favorite movies, though the plot isn't the best I've seen. The sequel is horrible. |

| Beauty and the Beast - G |
This movie is fantastic. I enjoyed every second of it. By far one of Disney's best. How someone doesn't love this movie is beyond me. However, I hate the song 'Human Again', so the extra content on the special edition really doesn't do much for me. |

| Bambi II - Unrated | As far as Disney sequels go ... this wasn't so bad. It was cute, but by far worse than the original. Like Aladdin 3, it'd kill some hours without making you want to rip your eyes out of your head. | November 27, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Bambi - G |
Adorable child movie. It's a classic. I may have outgrown it a bit, but hey, doesn't mean it's bad. I always loved Flower, he was so cute. |

| Lilo & Stitch - PG | This movie surprised me. Disney had pretty much lost all of my respect when I watched this movie, and it was actually ... good. Charming. Original. Cute. Really, who thought it possible? However, Disney had obviously tried to leech of this success as much as they can, aren't there about three sequels and an animated T.V. series? Shame on you Disney. | November 26, 2008 | N/A | |||
| The Fox and the Hound - G | This is a good movie, my younger siblings and I all enjoy this one. Copper and Todd capture your heart, especially when you're young, and take you through a wide range of emotion. I still love this movie. | November 26, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Toy Story 2 - G | It was superior to the first, and that's really saying something. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and loved the addition of Jessie. Overall, it was a hilarious and bitter-sweet Pixar movie that I highly recommend. | November 26, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Aladdin and the King of Thieves - G | Wasn't as bad as Aladdin 2, certainly. I found the plot enjoyable, and it had its moments. The return of Robin as the Genie likely helped my opinion of it ... a lot. Wasn't nearly as good as the first, but it could kill a few hours. | November 26, 2008 | N/A | |||
| The Return of Jafar (Aladdin 2) - G | The animation is atrocious, the story is horrifying, the lack of Robin Williams is unforgivable ... this movie is one of the worse that I have ever seen. The best part in this monstrosity was the fact that it ended. | November 26, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Disney's Aladdin - G | It doesn't matter how old you get, this movie is still as amazing as it was when you were six. Robin Williams' portrayal of the Genie is absolutely fantastic, and the song "One Step Ahead" is one of my favorite Disney songs ever. This is an amazing movie. | November 26, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Finding Nemo - G |
More fantastic animation and story lines from the near-imperfect Pixar. This story is very engrossing and heartwarming. It makes you laugh and cry, and really feel for the characters. Dory is great, and is my favorite character in this movie. |

| FernGully 2 - The Magical Rescue - G | Are you kidding me? Stop making sequels. No one but Pixar has ever succeeded in such a thing. Plus, Robin Williams doesn't do Batty. That's like Aladdin 2. HORRIBLE IDEA! | November 25, 2008 | N/A | |||
| FernGully - The Last Rainforest - G | November 25, 2008 | N/A | ||||
| Twilight - PG-13 | This movie is even worse than the book. I didn't think that was possible. | November 24, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Annie - G |
I love Annie. She is charming, and I really get attached to her characters. I'm not one for musicals, but there is always exceptions. I loved all of the music in this movie, the only one I found sub-par had to be Easy Street, but that's simply because I didn't enjoy Rooster and his mentally challenged friend/girlfriend/wife. |
