Watchmen - R This film was my highly most anticipated film, and I have to say it wasn't what I expected it to be. It was extremley dark and fantasticlly dreary. The gleamy dark was brought on by the world's most horrible parasites (rape, murder, cancer, greed). It has a addictively obscure likeness to exteme violence, and I feel that it was remarkable. Super heros these days are "happy go lucky" and are somewhat goody-goodies. But in this one, they are human. They are addicts, lesbians, pyscho, and occasionally extremely horny. They are the opposite of Spiderman, Superman, and Batman. I liked it more the "The Dark Knight", so much more in fact that I might actually go get the poster. March 14, 2009

Inglourious Basterds - R Gotta see this movie! It looks completely and utterly awesome in every way. Tarantino finally rises from his film "death" and recovers from the below average "Death Proof". I hope so anyway. This looks to be brutal beyond repair, and has a certain catchy and lingering plot that surely will satisfy my sometimes high craving for blood and revenge. March 4, 2009

W. - PG-13 Josh Brolin is the man! I love him. He is a great actor. He may pass De Niro in my all time favorite list if he keeps it up. And Oliver Stone....can't say enough about him. He has made brilliant, mind blowing films that stand the test of time. It follows Mr. Bush in his life's journey and brings to life new occurences of George. Josh Brolin brings an astonishing and well thought out acting performance. If you like Brolin, Oliver Stone, or just have mixed opinions on Bush. This is a definate must see. March 4, 2009

Casualties of War - R This film makes me cry and I love films that strike a nerve. It demonstrates the absolute horrible acts of humanity that are summoned during the epiuc battles of war. Sean Penn and Michael J. Fox are extremley astonishing in this. I love this film very much and I continue to watch it. Like "We Were Soldiers", it brings me down to reality when I'm having trouble. Perfect example of a film Mr. DePalma. March 4, 2009

Changeling - R Clint Eastwood is an amazing director. He's better directing than acting in my opinion. He is such an accomplished director. I love all of his directions. His Academy Awards speak for themselves February 26, 2009

Funny Games - R I gave it two stars purely because of the originality. The "climax" was simply lunacy. It defys any and all rules of film and it's stories. I know some people love this film...I understand why, but please. The fact the killer can control the film with a remote control is obscene. Why didn't he just rewind it when the kid got a away? Is this an Adam Sandler film? Why put the audience through such suspense when the killer had NO possilbe way of losing? I don't know...and I don't care anymore. February 24, 2009

Fantasia - G Truly dazzling in every sort of possible way. No dialogue is something I don't miss at all when I have such a perfect collaboration of skillful precision art before my eyes. I can only marvel at the sight of this. The classical music doesn't throw you off, it only makes the visual appeal so much more amazing. I'm happy to say I love this film, and I always will. It's all choreographed so remarkably well, and the colors are something to take into consideration, it was made in 1940. How did they do this? Great minds, great skill, great work. Cinderella - G Truly an awesome spectacle of American animation and film. The character study is not undershot by the tremedous comedy and fantastic and skillful art. It holds it's place in American cinema. If only people would understand how dear some of us hold these truly remarkable art films to our hearts, maybe some companies would look into the minds of true artists and put the original ways of animation art back into society. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - G As the first full length animated feature, it goes down in history. But I have more sentimental feelings for this film. Artwork is my life and the way of pencil to paper is a lost art these days. The artwork is incredibly beautiful and the story is one of the most sought-after and most fascinating stories of all time. It compells the spirit of American tradition and certainly puts itself in the past as a perfect childhood fantasy. The art is phenominal, and I challenge anyone who thinks otherwise. I love this film, and I will continue to persuade the American public and it's animation companies to please consider leaning towards the traditonal methods of pen and ink, pencil sketch, water color, and outline animation. The new way of creating animation is simply up to the techniques of computer artist, which is fine, but my opinion is considerably of the former. Please don't forget, the original paved the way for the recent. February 21, 2009
