Although this movie does have it's "free willly" type aspects it is much more mature. If you have a love of legend and interest in Lockness the I definately recommend this one. Some of the parts in the beginning surrounding the war drag a bit but the movie does pick up and get better. The CGI construction of the water horse creature is superb. Overall I would say it is a beautiful telling of one of Scottlands oldest legends and I loved itl.
This was a pretty good movie surprisingly. I was skeptical at first but found that I rather enjoyed the film. The concept, acting, graphics, technology were all good and more then met my expectations. I would recommend this one.
Clever and funny this is a good time movie. It's not one of those types of movies that leave you feeling like wow I can't believe I just saw that but it's got good entertainment value.
I loved this movie as a kid and I am looking foward to seeing what they do with the new release one in 2008 though I was disappointed in the first remake of the lion the witch and the wardrobe.
I enjoyed this movie though the concept has been done and redone the getting there was different. It's a good movie if you like a good ghost story but if you are looking for something original this is not the movie for you.
I thought the graphics were phenominal and the ideas for this movie were original and fresh. I love the storyline and the acting. I did however find it to be somewhat lacking. A lot of things went unanswered and unaddressed. I assume there will be a sequel which will explain in more detail but the movie left me with an unfinished feeling.
Though I am not a fan of Robert Downy Jr. he did a great Tony Stark. The movie was well done and did justice to the comic. It was funny and intellegent. Keep an eye out for a quick cameo by Stan Lee and watch after the credits.
I really liked this movie. Johnny Depp once again amazed me with his wide range of acting talent this time adding singing to his repertoire. Though an old story the new faces gave it a fresh look. I didn't even mind that Sasha Baron Cohan was in it whome I can't stand. If you are a lover of the theatrical this is one to see.
