New York, I Love You - R I havent seen Paris, I love you. So for me this was really different and great! A pity on casting choice - Hayden Christensen is always a waste of time. But I mean it was all different emotions rolled into one. Can't say more that it was great. Shia was powerful I think that boys great and his story was so strong I think the best of all. Ethan Hawke was so funny! I loved his story hes great at comedy and I believe he was in the Paris one - so its cool he showed up. Orlando was weak like always but he was okay and I always forgive him for everything because i hold a soft spot for him. Natalie Portman acted a bitter sweet part as well as directed a lovely story of an amazing dancer. This is all over the place...but im in Cannes I cant spend too long on here :P May 15, 2009

X-Men Origins - Wolverine - PG-13 Pretty good - I dont think you can go wrong with Wolverine though, all you need is him being who he is and your sweet. I think HUgh is so brilliant and brings the toughness as well as the charm. Really good characters Ryan Reynolds was surprisingly great and yeah kicking butt action all the way! May 2, 2009

17 Again - PG-13 Alot worse than I thought - for some reason I expected something along the lines Hairspray - not that that was very good but had more meaning. I went for Zac and i got his hottness - but honestly this is crap... April 17, 2009

The Reader - R This is alot different than how I thought it was going to be. I thought I would cry at the pain that the Germans had to go through because of the war. I didn't cry because I didnt think it was personal enough.
Brilliant acting, I dont think I needed to say that though - Ralph Fiennes....come on. Kate Winslet won the oscar and beat Meryl Streep so yes she was fantastic. I loved the placement of the story it was perfect timing going from one time to another. I liked how you then start to understand Kates character. David Kross I don't know of him - but brilliant held is part SO strong next to Kate which is really rear.

I did love it in parts but it was very much a something completely untouchable in way of relating to it. Which of course i dont expect to but I dno some movies are able to still do that. Im not sure what it is. On reflection it beats alot of shit out there so nothings perfect but its pretty brilliant

Pirate Radio (The Boat That Rocked) - R I was really dissappointed in this. It had so much going for it. Brilliant cast and could have been a good story but it dragged so much. And had no meaning in the middle and hardly any point. But I did grow to like it in the end. And really like Carl hes so cute and suits the 60s dress sense :P. April 9, 2009

Duplicity - PG-13 was alright couldve been a million times better in so many scenes that where lost and semi useless. i did like the end I guess but not worth all the crap you have to get through. Though I like Clive and Julia together and it gets rather exciting at one point March 23, 2009

Once - R I adore this, the realist movie ive seen in a long time. There is alot of music in it, but It was good stuff so I got through it. I loved their relationship and the girl is so beautiful and funny. And the guy is so talented and just wants to be loved. Very sweet March 9, 2009

Art School Confidential - R This started off promising I guess, I thought it could be good with all the characters they had and it seemed rather realistic. But it got SO boring and I just didnt care anymore. Though it did have a good feel of not just an average holywood movie. I liked that it was a bit different in way of art house...also the acting was pretty good...still nothing id recommend. February 21, 2009

Bride Wars - PG Just as I expected boring crap.l It wasnt very funny and it was so predictable and unrelatable. Ive been seeing alot of real movies lately and this doesnt come close to a good movie. Anne was annoying as ever and Kate had nothing special. No depth nothing.... January 23, 2009

Revolutionary Road - R Its realistic, it really is - this can happen and though I dont know anything about marriage I think it happens. Im rather overwhelmed right now, after just seeing this. Its a tragic story, for me its about questioning what makes you really happy. And to wake up and not kid yourself that just because your living the life you "should be" living - doesnt mean happiness and everything is okay. Its made me question my sanity lol - im really shocked by it. So it goes without saying that the acting is fantastic and im so releaved that this is 100% the opposite of titanic. Neither Leo or Kate shine brighter, I think Kate has been reconigized more for the fact that she is more likible out of the two. Shes the dreamer and Leos character Frank doesnt want to risk it and cant fully see the dream.

It must hit home for viewers as it touches on once you have a child its time to settle down and loose creativity - fit the mould because it seems to work...

I really liked this, but for now I cant watch it again, it unsettled me.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona - PG-13 I really liked this! Such a surprise and what I quietly hoped for. Just a little fun in the beautiful country that is Spain. Honestly I want to go and live in Spain so badly now.
Scarlett was good in this, I have now become to like her again, though this is probably one of the only type of characters she can pay. The innocent, interested yet naturally beautiful youth. She wasnt overally good but she did her part. Javier was very charming - the accent does help and I liked this character in a way, I didnt understand it but it went a different way than I thought. Rachel Hall was a nice surprise after watching Starter for Ten - she came out really strong and important person. Penelope is so beautiful and was the best of the women.

I liked this because it was sexy and just free flowing. The stronyline itself isnt one I would ever consider but its nice to think far beyond the usual line.
Its a sense of freedom and going with the moment not second guessing the outcome. Which I wouldnt ever be able to do, personally I loved it because it made me question why I fear things and how the europeans live.

exactly what I wanted

Seven Pounds - PG-13 Unfortunitly this only got good at the end, and by that time it was too late.

This is a simple story that has been made complicated - which is such a big mistake. Because if you have to try and make a big twist out of nothing then the movie wont be that good, because the subject and meaning is lost in the unnessary confusion. Sure its emotional and a forceful tear, but thats all, just playing with your emotions.

Will was good - I guess, overall Im annoyed its so good at the end, honestly I was overcome and loved it.
But its ruined.
