| Get Smart - PG-13 | Meah it was funny, but the storyline sucked and boring. Im not a fan of Anne or Steve....so yeah basically what I expected. | July 12, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Hancock - PG-13 | different than I expected I liked it and disliked it but overall thought it was good. Random with the whole CHarlize character but shes brilliant | July 9, 2008 | N/A | |||
| The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - PG | Way too long. I think im over Narnia no interest anymore....feel asleep | July 6, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Kung Fu Panda - PG | Funny. | July 1, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Sex and the City - R | Boring as hell. But thats my reflection a week later...I remember coming out of it and feeling good about life more than normal for some reason. I think that through the movie it made me think of other things like about life (I think alot...), but I think rather than watching it I zoned out. I wasnt a fan on the TV series I hate Sarah shes annoying and ugly. Im sorry but I dont think she has anything going for her. I found it very unrealistic, boring storyline and you cant relate to any of the characters. and FAR too long. In all it was okay...fashion sometimes nice.....but yeah....should have stayed a tv show | June 27, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Half Nelson - R |
Before this I loved Ryan, because The Notebook of course. I knew he was a good actor, but I thought he did brilliantly in this. I thought the storyline was completely different, I thought it was more of an inspiring teacher and students take on the unfair world and create greatness. But I much rather what the movie turned out to be. I found it realistic, mainly because of the simple storyline, the relationship between student and teacher - it could have become more than that and a bit awkward and wrong but it didn't it was just a trust and unsaid understanding between them. Also that in the end Ryans not magically cured. And the story followed well with no needed complications, it is what it is. And though I have just compaired it to alot of other hollywood movies and the fact that it is different doesnt by itself make it brilliant. I just thought it was a good story, good acting, script everything.
I really liked it and dont think this whole review made scenes....meah who other than me actually reads this anyway? |

| The Heart of Me - R |
I really enjoyed this, These are my kind of movies where others get bored, I like the story of this and adore Paul Bettany and Helena Bonham Carter, I think they are briilliant actors.
I love the time period and the emotional side of the movie, it wasn't fully realistic but it was moving and enjoyable. |

| The Happening - R | The only reason I will remember this movie is because it made no sense. Like plants make people want to kill people is large groups....I found it random, like them running from the wind. And it stopping at 9am the next day for no reason. The random relationship between Mark and Zoey. It was so unrealistic, the script was all over the place, they didnt explain anything. and it leaves you wondering wtf? its like LOST basically.....many unanswered questions. And poorly acted, I was disappointed by Mark. yeah I advise people not to see it, unless they want a good laugh at random scenes | June 14, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Gosford Park - R | June 9, 2008 | N/A | ||||
| Iron Man - PG-13 |
This was WAY better than I was expecting. As the people I heard saw it said it was good. But I thought it was rocking. I dont remember anybad parts and have alot of respect for Robert Downey Jr. now as I didnt think much of him acting wise before, having never seen his movies. I liked that alot of it was bout the building of the Iron Man, rather him randomly coming upon it or something. It made it more realistic. Overall Its up there with Transformer which I didnt think it could happen. Loved it.
Fav quotes: Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave! With a box of scraps!. Jim Rhodes: Why do you sound out of breath, Tony? Tony Stark: I'm not. I was just jogging through the canyon. Jim Rhodes: I thought you were driving. Tony Stark: Right, I was driving... to the canyon... where I'm going for a jog. |

| Little Children - R | I found this strange but in a way that I liked. But then made me feel a bit odd. I thought it was really good though. I liked how if felt more realistic. I have always thought that Kate was fab and this is such a different role for her. Overall I liked it but it was rather strange and had a weird feeling. | June 2, 2008 | N/A | |||
| We Are Marshall - PG | I found this hard to continue watching I dont think it was very good., | June 2, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Lust, Caution (Se jie) - R | No doubt its a beautiful film, but I think it was too much for me I found the sex scenes hard to watch. And the relationship painful for her. | June 1, 2008 | N/A | |||
| 21 - PG-13 |
Okay, I would like to take away the fact that I liked the subject of this movie.
But what brought it down is the acting and the script. I mean hello director a little more explaination would be helpful. If you are going to have a relationship happen let it develop dont just put it in there for no reason other than the fact that its a holywood movie. Develop it or cut it out, because it wasnt nessacry. Also like when he starts to not listen to the others, like whered that come from? You didnt feel like you could relate to the character at all, you were just like okay.... Also the twist at the end seemed like it was trying to save the movie or something like an all or nothing. But it was done SO BADLY. And you could see it coming from a mile. The acting didnt annoy me until half way through. the random main guy wasnt that good he played his part alright but you dont need brilliance to. Kate Bosworth wasnt annoying enough to be noticed. but I dont think much of her as an actress. Kevin like always and expected delivered but you wonder why he took the role. But apart for that rant, I liked the storyline and thought it was alright, though it didnt flow. Missed the mark a few times. But any movie in Vegas I am semi bias to not sure why...I like casino movies. |
