A good, original movie with Brendan Fraser in it was something that my mind couldn't match, but it happened. To my surprise the cast goes further with Mr. Paul Bettany who I only recognized by his voice because he doesn't look like himself but was awesome as always. Jennifer Conelly is in the movie, Hellen Mirren, Andy Serkis. Unbelievable. It surprised me.
Definitely one of the best movies I have seen. Eric Bana was outstanding, nothing but praise for him. He played the same character in different times and stages of his life and did it superbly, and Rachel McAdams has grown sooo much as an actress. But the thing about it is loving, and having no regrets. Not changing anything, but cherishing everything about that love, good or bad. That's something that happens only once.
Another great comedy. I loved the wordplay. But the only thing was that it is a fast-paced, strong comedy for 80% of the movie and all of a sudden turns a bit cheesy and predictable for the last 20% of it. But great fun all the same.
You have to give it to them. The infinite amount of detail and work in the CGI animations is just too much. Anyone willing to go all the way for a movie to look like this deserves five stars. On top of that the movie is great and perfectly written.
I believe this movie to have been quite a challenge, but they certaily pulled it off. I think Ryan Gosling is arguably the best actor of his generation.
Not much sense or significance in this movie. Very good stunt work but very poor voice-over work also. People are getting bored of so many VFX in movies today.
This movie can be better described with single words. Sadness. Loneliness. Pureness. Tragedy. Hope. Life. All in their most real and mind-shattering forms.
Amazing. You gotta love this story because it's not a fairy tale, it's not perfect. The situation really sucks at times, it's even uncomfortable. No matter how you see it, it has an effect on you. Fincher's dark humor is as great as ever, and he knows how to apply simetry to things. Classic!
Very slow starter, and Adam's hair did suck. But after a while the story develops well, and the outrageous and unbelievable things he gets into the story make it a fun time.
I do not think they make a good couple. I prefer the Ashton Kutcher/Amanda Peet combination. It was fun, big fun at times, especially in the couple last scenes.
M. Night Shyamalan is plain simple one of the most original writer/directors of our time. People get really scared when they realize they are dying and there's no escape from it. Well, I guess we better get used to the idea.
