THIS NEW PIC IS REALLY ME IN NYC. I WAS IN THE AUDIENCE OF DAVID LETTERMAN (NO CAMERAS ALLOWED INSIDE) AND IT REALLY IS FREEZING IN THERE. I WORE A SWEATER IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER.
Ok, first of all, I am on Facebook or Myspace. You can find me on those at onenonlyheather@yahoo.com. DO NOT SEND ME A FRIEND REQUEST ON YAHOO MESSENGER IF WE HAVE NEVER TALKED. I tend on Facebook a bit, and will accept most friend requests. IF YOU WANT TO SEE PICS OF ME, YOU HAVE TO ADD ME AS A FRIEND ON FACEBOOK OR MYSPACE, MY PICS ARE SET FOR FRIENDS ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! My theory on movies is to try to go in with an open mind. GET OVER SUBTITLES. If you can't watch a movie with subtitles, you're missing out on some wonderful films. Some of the best movies coming out are foriegn films, especially Spanish and Asian flicks (Pan's Labyrinth, Audition, Old Boy, Ju-On, Three..Extremes). Indpendent movies are a great way to see some breakthrough movies of up and coming directors. Personal about me, I live in Tulsa, OK USA. I work as an investment analyst for one of the biggest companies in the world. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree. Ignorance and immaturity is not my style, so if you fall into those categories, leave me alone. Please no TEENY-BOPPERS OR TEENY BOPPER WANNABES, AND PLEASE BE 18 OR OLDER FOR FRIEND REQUESTS AS I AM AN ADULT! I am divorced and am just interested in making new friends who are major movie fanatics like I am. I've only rated probably a third of the movies I've seen. I like most genres of movies, but am not big on westerns, gansta flicks (and some gangster flicks, I am a bad girl and have never seen Godfather 1 or 2). I do like action, romantic comedies, foriegn films, dramatic films, horror films (my recent favs have been asian horror), and suspense/mystery. I do not like close-minded individuals and believe them to be obtuse. I am college educated, with a bachelors in business and a masters in education, so I'm not dumb or gullible. I have a tendency to make hard quizzes on here, but just think, you may learn something. I hate competing for high score on quizzes, that's just immature. |

Thirteen Ghosts (13 Ghosts)

After seeing the original, I have a new appreciation for the remake. WHile they did an homage to the original with the importance of the glasses, it was a whole new take on it. This version is more visual, gory, and much more interesting story line.
Idiocracy
R
This is a bit of a silly film, but the message was interesting. I know poeple who aren't the smartest people who have six or more kids by different baby daddy/mamas for each kid. I think the best message is for people to use BIRTH CONTROL..LOL so that the dumbing down of society doesn't happen by too many kids by people with below average intelligence. Plus it pokes fun at scientist who were more concerned about the affects of Viagra than more important issues. To me, this movie represents a worst case scenerio for what society could become.
A Dead Calling
Unrated
Thought this would be better since part of the cast is comprised of the same cast as "the devils rejects" very predictable B horror movie. Don't waste your time.
13 Ghosts (1960)
Unrated
This was great kitsch fun. I wish the viewers had been available in the dvd i rented.
The Last Supper
R
This is a good "dark comedy" with a great cast. Very different, creative idea behind the movie. You may not eat tomatoes again after watching this..LOL
Ocean's Thirteen
PG-13
I like how this goes back to Ocean's 11, because after seeing Ocean's 12, I watned my money back! I love how the nose plays for Matt Damon, it's a funny storyline, then how there's always a twist, this was a good wtist too. Eddie Izzzard really adds to the cast.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I love the twisted dark humor of this film. Of course, I love it since it's my movie! To me the main cast was amazing.
5.
Audition (Ôdishon)
R
You've got to give props to any movie that would creep out Eli Roth, Rob Zombie and John Landis. One of the most amazing horror movies ever in the history of movies. Japanese horror flicks, especially Miike, are so much better than American filsm. This movie starts out like a normal movie, a widow deciding he wants to remarry and a friend of his has the idea to hold a fake audition for him to meet girls. The last 15 minutes of this move are almost unbearable to watch. Just reminds you that you could be dating a psychopath and not even know it.
6.
Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno)
R
This a one of the best movies I have ever seen, hands down. There was just something so beautiful about the fairy tale Ophelia believe in set against Franco's Spain, beauty and enchantment against the horrors of torture and war. Just an amazing film! Get over the subtitles, it is worth watching.
