The Fifth Element
Luc Besson manage to to put together the single most incredible science fiction film since "Blade Runner" and liked it's title the director delivered some fantastic elements by assembling an amazing international cast, creating a completely unique story with memorable characters and crafting an unbelieveable visually mesmorizing futuristic world. The result is an all out hardcore science fiction roller coaster ride! Internationally acclaimed stars Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman delivered amazing performances, complimented with a perspectively intelligent sense of humor. The protagonic anti-hero (Korben Dallas) played by Bruce Willis differs from every other character he's has ever incarnated, a burnout retired special opps veteran turned taxi driver who occasionally gets verbaly harassed by his own mother. Gary Oldman plays (Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg) a suave yet infamous businessman who's intellectual entrepreneurship and lust for riches leads him to develop, manufacture and deal advanced weaponry in the chaotic black market, while at the same time posing as a legitimate art dealer. The most notorious Chris Tucker, kick's it up in his first singular triumphant comedic role as the effeminate intergalactic womanizer radio dj (Ruby Rhod). Within all this mixture is Milla Jovovich character (Leeloo) the wonderful chemistry between her and Bruce Willis results in a very awkward and specially touching love story.
