I don't know how I feel about this movie. I liked the minimalistic direction but at the same time I'm not sure why it has been made into a film. It's a story we already know of and heard about it many times. I'm just wondering if it brings something new to the topic.

Keri Russell is adorable in this touching comedy. I thought she physically looked like Nicole Kidman in some scenes. She also gives a great performance and the cinematography is also very nice (I loved all those shots of the pies being made). It was also a pleasure to watch it while I'm being pregnant myself.

Great cinematography and great performance by Maria Bonnevie. But it was also painful to watch sometimes because of the accents and also because of the subject matter. Dina can turn violent and it's not beautiful at all... it's a bit depressing.

Je n'avais pas vraiment d'attente face à ce film, je m'attendais à quelque chose du même type que Bon cop, bad cop. Finalement, je dois avouer l'avoir trouvé franchement meilleur. Mon copain et moi avons rigolé tout le long et si vous êtes à la recherche d'une simple et bonne comédie, ne regardez pas plus loin.

Luc Picard a réussi en mettre en oeuvre un conte de Fred Pellerin absolument magnifique. Tout le casting rend justice au scénario et délivre un film formidable qui plaira à tous les membres de la famille. Chapeau!

Audrey Tautou's acting is near perfection. I found a bit of myself in the person of Coco Chanel. It's too bad that nowadays Chanel is not what it used to be. She dared to be different and do her own thing but it seems that now Chanel is a brand for fashion followers only. Oh well. It was still a nicely photographed film, very subtle and mellow.

Apart from some interesting murder scenes, the film is going nowhere. It seems that Michael Myers is invincible and he can do whatever he wants to. It was mostly boring but I must mention that Danielle Harris is great.

There is not much substance in this sequel. I mean, there's nothing new to it and not seeing it wouldn't have change a thing in my life. Watch it only if you are a big fan of the Halloween saga. Otherwise, you could just skip it.

Sam Raimi is adding another great film to his cinematography. No, it's not really scary although there are some moments that can make you jump out of your seat. But it's mostly a film that shouldn't be taken too seriously, as the parts 2 and 3 of his Evil Dead trilogy.

Un très bon documentaire québécois qui porte à réfléchir sur notre société. Pourquoi les gens ne tentent pas de faire du social et du sport au lieu de se gaver de médicaments qui ne font que créer une dépendance sans leur apporter un réel réconfort? Les gens ne font plus aucun effort et veulent avoir tout cuit dans le bec. Bien dommage mais ça ne fonctionne pas comme ça.

The guy playing the ice cream dude is priceless. Forest Whitaker is awesome. The direction is also very neat, even though it's quite different than the previous films Jarmusch made.

Margot at the Wedding - R

As much as I enjoyed The Squid and The Whale, I don't really know what to think of this second effort by Noah Baumbach. The cast is great but it seems that the story didn't do them justice. There were some great moments and some were quite long and annoying. It's certainly not an easy movie.
