Hmmmm, what to say? I am 51 going on 25. Don't mistake that for immaturity, but rather a young-thinking middle aged man who knows what he wants and how he wants to live his life. Those who know me know that I really like to make people happy and make people laugh, something I think I'm pretty good at. But there's that not wanting to grow up thing.... anyway.... My life is blessed. I got married for the last time on 8-18-07 to a wonderful woman who has a terrific son. I have another great family, lots of relatives and in-laws, an amazing, supportive wife-to-be and the son I always wanted. This year we bought a house on Grosse Ile. It's a beautiful red brick home with great landscaping, two fireplaces, and lots of room. I didn't think I'd ever buy my own house. Things just keep getting better. I have been so blessed. I work for the West Bloomfield School District, and have been here for nearly 19 years now. About a year ago my job as radio station manager changed slightly, and now I am splitting my time between Radio and IT Computer Technician. I love both jobs, and am very lucky to have a job I love. Actually, living in Michigan, I am very lucky to have a job, period. So, like it or not, that's me in a nutshell. I am in a good place right now and I like my life. But as the Grateful Dead song goes, "What a long, strange trip it's been..." |

2.
This Is Spinal Tap
R
Funniest rock and roll movie of all time. Bloody Brilliant. Also has a great one liners from Michael McKean (David St. Hubbins): "There's a fine line between clever and stupid, isn't there?"
4.
Eraserhead
Unrated
Surreal, disturbing, nightmarish. The strangest and most fascinating movie I have ever seen. Ultimately it is brilliant.
5.
Citizen Kane
PG
What to say that hasn't been said already? This is the greatest movie ever made. It is still refreshing nearly 70 years later.
