The horse's head, the toll booth massacre, the baptism... the greatness of The Godfather is beyond all others. There have been challengers but if you truly want the greatest epic and the greatest family then look no further. And if there is one single movie to see before you die, this is the one and only.

Truth be told, this movie is actually better than the first one. It sounds like blasphemy but the acting and the dual storylines are positively flawless. The scenes between Michael and Fredo are simply the most stunning interactions ever filmed. I do rate the original Godfather higher due to its clout, but if you are looking for arguably the finest movie ever to be created, look no further.
