After the first 10-15 minutes, I did not like Anne Hathaway's character and I was sea-sick from director Jonathan Demme's hand-held camera work. And then two hours later I felt like I had just attended a family wedding! I got fully sucked in by story of a family ripped apart and
trying desperately to hold on to what is left.

There is no way to watch this movie without numerous moments of being nauseous or uncomfortable.
That is really the strength of the film ...it draws you into this world that you just don't want to be a part of. But in the same time you want to be a part of them.

I won't go into plot, but this movie is about real people, family, culture, and confronting ones demons. To struggle, to feel isolated, to desire love, to fight, to lie, to cry-these things are human, and these are the things this film deals with. Lots of memorable moments and great dialogue add up to a film that will keep you thinking long after you leave the theater going back home while you are holding hand's of lover
and wiping your tears off still ... and description of your feeling is --Ooh What a relief ! It was a nice movie definitely.

This will be one of the best film's of the year, but will probably be under-seen.
