Emma 's Favorite Movies
Angels & Demons
PG-13
I loved the movie and got so into it. It was almost as good as the book but I find myself unable to get over the fact that the guy who had Water carved on his chest lived when he was suppost to die, that the Camer . . . whatever wasn't told that the pope was his birth father and that that security dude went into the glass thingy (the one with all the documents, books and stuff) with Robert, the time when all the power shut off, when Robert was suppost to be alone. Apart from these very annoying things, the book was so good that I think they should have done as much as they could to keep them the same but that's just my opinion, the movie rocked and it was torture waiting for it to come out. I prefer Angels and Demons to the Da Vinci Code, I couldn't even get into reading that book whereas Angels and Demons I lay in bed and read in one day. Overall I adore this movie and can't wait to get it on dvd and watch it over and over until I get sick of it, I do that all the time with my favourite movies.
Armageddon
PG-13
I love this movie. I hate that some people don't like it because what happens in it 'never actually could'. Well duh, it's a movie after all I don't hear any of them complaining that the things in Harry Potter couldn't actually happen, even though it obviously can't which is such a shame. Anyway I'm off the topic, I got really into this movie and enjoyed every single second of it. I felt so connected to the characters and I am using this as my excuse for crying my eyes out at the end when the main character died, that and the fact that I felt so sorry for Grace loosing her father since I know what it's like. The first time I watched it I could have kicked myself for waiting soooo long! I watched it when I was on holiday and bought it soon after I got home. I have watched it so many times now and I will continue watching it until I'm either dead or I've watched it so much that I hate it (I hope it's the former!).
