This is easily the best story ever put to film. If not for this film, I would be dead.

I don't normally take the time to make recommendations as they get kind of annoying filling up my page, but I couldn't resist on this one. Wind that Shakes the Barley is probably the best film I've seen in 2007. Ifyou have the means, get out and check this one out. The Wind That Shakes the Barley

This is probably the best film I've seen of 2007 speaking from a purely technical and story depth point of view.

It is full of action, emotion and character development. From the opening scene that is one of the more gripping and riveting opening scenes I can remember seeing in a long time.

I can't recommend this film enough. See it in the theaters today.

Little Children

NOW AVAILABLE ON DVD!

I was completely blown away by this film. Within 20 seconds I knew it was for me. Fabulous acting all around with a genuinely original idea for a story.

I am amending my top ten of 2006 to include Little Children. Why this film is not up for an academy award makes me wanna rip my hair out. The academy couldn't find its collective ass with both hands!

It will be my pleasure to write up a full review. And here it is...

This movie isn't even really political. It just shows how Michael Moore manipulates and lies to us prove his point. This movie doesn't question that point, in fact, director Wilson mentions many times he appreciates the fact that Michael Moore has an opinion. But Moore lies to us to back-up his opinion.

There is some unbelievable stuff in here. I always knew Moore was a bit manipulative and an extremely creative editor; but I had no idea how horrible he actually is. His Oscar should be taken away from him, because now I know his movie is NOT a documentary.

Michael Moore Hates America

Now I hate MM even more. Wilson does a great job of putting this doc together. I thought it was going to be cheap and flimsy, but it's not. It's something that actually tells the truth and opens our eyes to Moore's UNBELIEVABLE bullshit in "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11."

The film is honest and open. The director even rips himself when he realizes that he actually stoops to Moore's level a couple of times.

Interviews with many of the people from "Columbine" and "Fahrenhet" who feel they were misrepresented and lied to. Great documentary. The REAL truth.

One of the best movies of the year. Sure to be up for best picture.

Half Nelson

Loved this movie from start to finish. Ryan Gosling just took a HUGE step forward on America's greatest actors list. A true case of less is more.

One of the scenes near the end is so brilliant without saying a word. Freaking amazing. See this soon.

And by the way... KILLLER soundtrack.
