My Favorite Movies

Fantastic. So much better for being so much longer. A lot darker than the previous films which is refreshing. Bring on the next installment.

Guns, action packed and sexy as hell. Watch Angelina & Brad sizzle in this spicy flick about a couple who have no idea what they really do for a living. Definitely worth watching.

"There's a little magic in all of us" and it doesn't always mean casting spells. Brilliantly written, with great acting from all the actors. A charming and magical story about curses, love and of course, magic.

Hilarious family film. One of my favorite animated films.

Tom Hanks is the star in this flick about a man from far europe. Left stranded at a U.S. airport for quite some time after his country is hit by war and is left totally destroyed, making him essentially homeless and a citizen of nowhere. Hanks gives an excellent performance as he learns to speak english and makes friends with some of the airport staff. Should be seen to truely appreciate one of Tom's greatest roles since Forrest Gump.

An all time favourite of mine. The acting is believeable and never fails to bring tears to my eyes. Important morals play a big part in this. If only more teachers made the CHOICE to be in-tune with their studerts. Dare to dream!

as good as the previous two editions. this didn't disappoint me in the least. more action, more power struggles and packs a punch for sure. left open-ended leaving room for a potential fourth x-men. there's still lots of characters that haven't been explored so who knows.

Probably not everyones cup of tea but this made me laugh from start to finish. Andy (played by Steve Carell) portrays the 40 year-old virgin. We see him go from being a cooped up timid action-hero figure collector to becoming a man. With a barrel load of laughs this movie will make you wonder what crazy thing Andy's friends will have him do next. Great fun! I highly recommend the uncut version as the edited one doesn't do this film justice.

Another all time favourite of mine. Frank (Kevin Costner) is hired to protect singer Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston). Touching flick with danger around every other corner. Must be seen to appreciate the plot.

An all time favourite of mine. Salma & Matthew have great chemistry. Heart warming romance that starts off too quickly and ends with. . . well you'll have to watch it to find out. Plenty of subtle humour makes this movie easy to watch and isn't too heavy. Good stuff!

"ESSSSCAAAPEEEEE" "That's funny, that words spelt just like escape". What would this movie be without the totally bonkers Dory. Sweet, funny and made me feel like a child again.

a story about a woman wiv no fashion sense who lands a job as a second assistant to a highly influential fashion magazine executive. wiv lots of quirky critiscism and laughs along the way.

fun, playful and kinda corny mixed with a quirky sense of humour. David Hyde Pierce particualy made me laugh.

Reese gives an exceptional performance in this.

Brilliant start to the Kill Bill films. The second film is better than the first. This should still be watched though.

Blood thursty, vengeful samarai sword killing spree. Very good action packed film and definitly better than the first.

Very entertaining! If you're into this kinda movie then you should enjoy.

Jim Carrey proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he can act in this unusual role. if you thought that Jim could only make comedies then think again. rent it or better, buy it. this film is well worthy of being in anybody's dvd collection. should be seen to appreciate the excellent acting. with an unexpected twist this movie keeps you guessing till the very end.

smite me down, oh mighty smiter! jim carrey doesn't disappoint when it comes to delivering plenty of humour. fun to watch.

yep, i'm a sucka for some teen movies.

Tom Hanks gained world wide acclaim for his portrail of Forrest Gump, a not so forward boy who starts off unable to walk without the help of his leg braces. watch this intriguing character go the distance. i consider this role Toms best acting. if you haven't seen it already then i suggest you get it on dvd today. excellent!

Enlightening movie about addicts of pills and spills. Could watch this again and again.

Sandra has a quirky sense of humour. She proves in this role that she can be just as goofy, if not goofier than the likes of Jim Carrey. Entertaining indeed!

As good as the first if not better.

Interesting and intense role for Nicole. I was surprised and thoroughly enjoyed this flick. Kept me guessing until the very end. Good Stuff!

A bit of a heavy film but impressive acting from both Ewan and Nicole. Very energetic and worth seeing.

a very modern take on this classic Shakespeare play. swords replaced wiv guns, lots of bright colours which could make u feel like you were trippin' but doesn't disappoint as it sticks to Shakepear's script. i think its an excellent tribute to previous movies made and the actors really bring the characters and script to life. awesome!

A Must see for those who love a bit of mystery intertwined with supernatural elements and a shocking twist. Brilliant!

amazing sfx wiv a great cast of voices from Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, Mike Myers as Shrek and Antonio Banderas as Puss In Boots. hilarious fun and cute as hell.

better than the original simply because the sfx are even more realistic than the first. wiv the usual hilarity but this time wiv a strong dose of caffiene, making Shrek 2 seat wetting fun lol

Harrowing true story set in the time of The Holocaust. No holds barred and no stone left unturned. Disturbing, sickening and tear jearking. If this doesn't leave you feeling ashamed of what man has done then perhaps nothing will. Excellently directed and brilliant acting from all of the stars and extras alike. This is a must see.

Another film from my favourite Director, Robert Zemeckis. I wasn't disappointed because as usual, Robert Zemeckis had his unique knack and eye for detail and precision. This movie may not be everyones cup of tea but, if it's quality and precision you look for in a film then check out any by this superb Director. Brilliant acting from both Hanks and Hunt.

A bit of an arse numbing long movie but it's definatly worth it. Brilliant acting from all the cast involved. Luv it!

Just saw this on Sky. To know that this happened made me feel sick. It's right up there with Schindler's List. Terrifying and horrific!

I absolutely adore this beautiful classic by Jim Henson. It's still a fave of mine.
