This thing sucks if you've read the book, I'll say that now. Even for most audiences that haven't read the book, it's not that great. Made more for kids 11 or 12 and under, I think. Many important things were left out, many important things were changed and Lyra was even genetically incorrect!!!(lol) Quite a disappointment, this movie. Especially if you've read and enjoyed the books. Sir Ian McKellen did play Iorek's voice fantastically, and Daniel Craig made a perfect Lord Asriel, but things were put far too bluntly in this movie. See it if you will, but I don't exactly recommend it. The only highlights were when Iorek and Iofur(Ragnar in the movie) fought, and the skirmish at the end. That's it.
This was really good. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I really wound up likig it. And I adore Ewan McGregor. I couldn't believe the end though. I actually cried. Then again, I seem to cry at most love-ish stories any more, lol. But man, I was heartbroken at what happened. I can't imagine how the real Beatrix Potter must have felt . . . . really good film though.
This actually wasn't too bad. And I was glad there was actually a point to it, lol. But it was cute. James Marsden was actually pretty . . . . mmmm ;P And OMG poor John Travolta!! I laughed so hard eery time he was on screen! Especcially at the end!!! And "The Flasher" was hilarious too!!! Just, some things were implicated and talked about that I wouldn't expect to be in a PG movie. I know f I was a parent I woudn't want my kid to hear some of that. But it was pretty good.
Actually, the only reason I went to see this was because on the commercial it looked like there might be a hot guy in there. Shallow, yes, but thats my reason. But it turned out to be a great movie. Amazing effects - this better win at least some awards. Seriously. When the robots transformed, it was just amazing. I would recommend everyone to see this, and see it in theatres. I felt like I was honestly in the middle of the battles that were happening. Really, a great, great film. It had a bit of everything that I like: action, suspense, humor, good storyline, war-ish stuff, and a REEAAALLLYYYYY hot guy ;P
SCARY!!! But really good! Confusing . . . every time you think it's over, BAM! Another surprise twist that totally flips it. I reeally liked it though. My friend and I were freaking out the whole time. I hate alarm clocks now . . .
SO much action!! Loved every bit of it! Mark is such an amazing actor, this is a great showing of it. The perfect role for him!! And, oh man, thank God the writers made sure Mark had to get out of his shirt plenty of times, ;D Oh, and Gredenko from 24 S6 is in here.
This was amazing. Really great info on the Behind The Scenes things, and I loved the Live in Brazil and acoustic versions. Adam was so hot in both, I wish I could find some pics!!! Anywho, this is an awesome vid. Everyone should totally see it, especially if you like the band(if you don't I want to know what your problem is!). The Actions and Words was hilarious! Again, great vid, great songs, great info, great band, and great totally hot lead singer, lol. Rock on
I have gotten several recommendations from friends on here, and they were all right! Aamazing movie! I thought it would be a little overrated, but no way!! Very intense, and the perfect amount of action!!!! Excellent fight scenes! And ya know, Tobey Macguire is actually kinda hot when his hair is hangin' in his face and he's a 'bad boy'. I mean, like, REALLY hot. But I cried so bad at the end!! VERY sad! Unbelievable movie though!!! I recommend it to anyone, even people that aren't Spiderman fans!!!!
Great movie!! Hilarious, and Matthew Broderick was great! Loved the twist with Charlie Sheen in here! I died when I saw what kind of character he was playing!!
I only watched 'cause I was told TDG was in here, but it was actually pretty good. Sad, but really good. And TDG ROCKED!!!!!! (literally) Adam was SOOOO hot! I miss his mohawk . . :( Oh well! He's still hot!!
