This is , so sad:

My name is Sarah.....
I am three,
my eyes are swollen
I cannot see,
I must be stupid
I must be bad,
what else could have made
my daddy so mad?
I wish I were better
I wish I weren't ugly,
Then maybe my mommy
would still want to hug me.
I can't speak at all I can't do a wrong
Or else I'm locked up
All the day long.
When I awake I'm all alone
The house is dark
My folks aren't home
When my mommy does come
I'll try and be nice,
So maybe I'll get just
One whipping tonight.
Don't make a sound!
I just heard a car
my daddy is back,
from Charlie's Bar.
I hear him curse
My name he calls
I press myself
Against the wall
I try and hide
From his evil eyes
I'm so afraid now I'm starting to cry
He finds me weeping
He shouts ugly words,
He says its my fault
That he suffers at work.
He slaps me and hits me
And yells at me more,
I finally get free
And I run for the door.
He's already locked it
And I start to bawl, He takes me and throws me
Against the hard wall.
I fall to the floor
With my bones nearly broken,
And my daddy continues
With more bad words spoken.
"I'm sorry!", I scream
But its now much too late
His face has been twisted
Into unimaginable hate The hurt and the pain
Again and again
Oh please God, have mercy!
Oh please let it end! And he finally stops
And heads for the door,
While I lay there motionless
Sprawled on the floor
My name is Sarah
And I am three, Tonight my daddy murdered me.

(it reminds me of wut used 2 happen 2 me wen i was little:( )

    "Let in the unexpected."

A chance run-in with an old college roommate becomes the catalyst for healing in writer/director Mike Binder's tale of friendship and understanding in post-9/11 New York. When the Twin Towers went down on that fateful morning in 2001, Charlie Fineman (Adam Sandler) lost everything that he had to live for. Five years have passed since Charlie lost his family, and now the once-successful and sociable man has become a withdrawn shadow of his former self. When fate brings Charlie and his former college roommate Alan Johnson (Don Cheadle) together once again on a Manhattan street corner, Alan is shocked to see just how far his old friend has fallen. Though on the surface it would appear that Alan has it all, the pressures of his family and career have been weighing heavily on the successful dentist and loving father's shoulders as of late. At that pivotal moment when Charlie and Alan both needed a trusted friend to help them work through the seemingly insurmountable challenges they face in life, the restorative power of a rekindled friendship provides just the lifeline needed to move forward into the future with hope and optimism. Jada Pinkett Smith, Liv Tyler, Saffron Burrows, and Donald Sutherland co-star.

    Review
Sandler was amazing. He wasn't a goofball like in Billy Madison and The Waterboy. In fact, there is very little sign of those adolescent characters in this movie. He shows he is mature and plays it so well, I personally couldn't tell it was him at all. The storyline was really strong and the acting was good. Probably Sandler's most dedicated role to serious as he gets. It's his best work in my opinion. The characters are not out there, but like the same things we like and talk the same way. I felt a connection in that. Cheadle, on the other hand, was also great as Charlie's one and only true friend, Alan. With "Hotel Rwanda", "Traffic" and "Crash" in his acting slate, you can already tell that Don is a great actor.

So, if you want to see a heavy dramatic film during a cold night, see Reign Over Me.
Probably Adam's best role ever. And its not a comedy...highly recommended.

"Something went wrong in the lab today. Very wrong."

Seth Brundle is a research scientist, employed by Bartok Sciences, who has invented "Telepods" two matter transmission pods that teleports any object through space from one "Telepod" to the other "Telepod". But, it is until Seth meets journalist Veronica Quaife who inspires Seth to correct the system, that Seth achieves successful teleportation. But something goes horribly wrong, when Seth uses himself as a guinea-pig in a matter transmission experiment, as he teleports himself, unaware his genes have been fused with a house fly that was trapped in the telepod with him. Seth, now finds himself slowly transforming into a terrifying mutant creature known as "Brundlefly" as he finds himself in a fierce battle as his mutated genes begins to take over.

    Review
This 1958 horror remake directed by David Cronenberg was a great watch, it had all the elements for an epic horror film. First the amazing yet nasty and puke inducing special effects. For a 1986 film, I'd say it was way ahead of its time when it came to make-up effects, I almost puked on my popcorn every time Brundlefly is doing nasty things in his apartment. Second, the character development of Jeff Goldblum's character Seth Brundle and Geena Davis' Veronica. Come to think of it, if you remove the horror factor of the film, you'd get a romantic story between an eccentric scientist and a promising journalist. The first half of the film basically focuses on said love affair and the second half is where the horrific element sets in and I gotta be honest, it really pays off.

Jeff Goldblum in his best role ever, is stunning. He delivers great dialogue and even when he's covered in horrific make-up, you can still see the humanity inside of the character, all thanks to the brilliant performance of Goldblum. The Fly is more than a horror film, it was a statement back when it was released and its still a statement up until now. It truly is amazing how you can find cinematic gems like these where you least expect it.

"Who Decides Who Gets A Second Chance?"

Having been institutionalized for most of his life, Jack (Andrew Garfield) is finally released from prison at the age of 24. He and another boy murdered a child when they themselves were children. The film follows Jack's attempts to readjust to the world outside of confinement and restart a life which never really got going.

Under the fatherly mentoring of Terry (Peter Mullan), his parole contact and social worker, he experiences a coming of age, which would normally have happened years ago. Forces from the past are constantly upon him. As we learn more about the events leading up to the crime which has ruined so many lives, there is an increasing sense of suspense, intrigue and ultimately doom: the tabloid press and Terry's real son are not going to let things lie.

Definitely one of the best films I've seen this year. This came as a shock to me because I have never heard of this film beforehand. But because of the buzz that's been circling around this film I decided to buy me a copy of this one and man, was I surprised. This film tackles the idea of second chances and starting life all over.

Boy A is visually stunning. The acting is astounding, credit goes to up and coming talent Andrew Garfield and the raw emotion that he invested in the character. It was very convincing and all the while, heart breaking. He carries the film from start to end and you can't help but notice his presence from the get-go.

It just goes to show that you don't need big explosions and loud, noisy scenes to make an excellent movie. With all the rubbish Hollywood's been releasing these days, its nice to see films like these just circling around, silently building its audience fan base and through the word of mouth, it spreads and it spreads. Boy A is highly recommended.
Amazing. Captivating. Heartfelt. See it now.

Jerry Shaw: [shouting] "Are you the one who called me on the phone?"

Rachel Holloman: "She called you too?"

'Eagle Eye' is a race-against-time thriller starring Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Mackie and Billy Bob Thornton. Jerry Shaw (LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Monaghan) are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations--using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move. As the situation escalates, these two ordinary people become the country's most wanted fugitives, who must work together to discover what is really happening--and more importantly, why.

A highly entertaining popcorn flick thrill ride that doesn't stop from start to finish. The movie kind of starts slow, introducing the main characters Jerry (Shia) and Rachel (Michelle) and a bit of story development from each character but then the minute Shia's character is arrested by the FBI under false pretenses, the movie kicks into overdrive and the adrenaline rush doesn't stop until it ends. Eagle Eye is a prime example of a highly budgeted studio popcorn flick with big explosions and eye popping car chase sequences. Michael Bay should be proud.

The plot is somehow far fetched and implausible which makes this kind of a science fiction in its kind and so far, this has been one of the better science fiction I have seen but its no 'Blade Runner'. Pure mindless, adrenaline, over-the-top sci-fi thriller fun, and I liked it...a lot.

The goal of the film, besides giving us virtual adrenaline rush in high doses is, they want us, the audience to fear our cellphones and computers and hoped that after watching it, we would never ever touch a single technological gadget in our lives. Just like what Spielberg did when he made 'Jaws'. When people saw the film, they thought twice in getting in a sailboat and heading out to open seas. It could have worked, it might not but if you ask me, I'm still not afraid of my BlackBerry. I love my BlackBerry. But that's just me.

Shia LaBeouf who is clearly making his way into bankable lead actor status is improving in every film that I see him in. He's one of those actors you might want to watch out for. Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Will Smith should watch their backs, there's a new kid in town. Michelle Monaghan, on the other hand, is an actress that I am totally a fan. I first noticed her in 2005's underrated film "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" then her follow-up "Mission Impossible III" as Tom Cruise's flame. This lady delivers all the goods when it is needed, that's why she's one of my favorite actresses out there.

The plot of Eagle Eye may have been used a lot of times, I can see some striking similarities with 2004's I,Robot and Kubrick's Sci-Fi masterpiece "2001: A Space Odyssey" but this one I highly enjoyed and I was impressed actually. I little bit of advice, I highly recommend it that you watch this movie in the theaters because I am telling you right now, those high-definition Dolby surround sound will blow your eardrums away.

Nate: "Yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery, and today is a gift. That's why its called the present."

Director/screenwriter David Gordon Green adapts Stewart O'Nan's popular novel to the screen in this feature, which tells the parallel tales of a teenager named Arthur (Michael Angarano) and his onetime babysitter Annie (Kate Beckinsale) -- whose turbulent relationship with her estranged husband, Glenn (Sam Rockwell), leads the small-town waitress down a troubled path. Arthur is a high-school student from a dysfunctional family, and does everything in his power to avoid hanging around the house while mom and dad quarrel. When he's not practicing his trombone and performing with the high-school marching band, Arthur can usually be found bussing tables at the local Chinese restaurant and flirting with older waitress Annie. Annie used to be Arthur's babysitter, and is currently struggling to separate from her former high-school sweetheart, Glenn. But being a single mother isn't easy, especially since the troubled Glenn wants nothing more than to clean up his act and reunite his family.

Back at school, Arthur and pretty classmate Lila (Olivia Thirlby) have been bonding over their mutual love for all things geeky. Though the casual friendship shows promise of evolving into something more when Lila expresses her true feelings for Arthur, he can't help but becoming distracted by his chaotic family life: his father is moving out of the family home, and his mother is doing everything in her power to maintain some semblance of normalcy. Realizing that happiness is fleeting as his family becomes shattered and Annie experiences a series of distressing encounters with Glenn, Arthur gradually begins to fall for Lisa despite his growing cynicism concerning long-term relationships. Later, on a cold winter morning, Glenn and Annie's past catches up with them in a blinding flash, and the lives of everyone they know are suddenly and irrevocably changed.

A truly heartfelt film that shook me straight to the bone. The main reason I bought it on DVD is because Sam Rockwell's in it, who is becoming one of my favorite underrated actors ever and Kate Beckinsale starring in a film where she won't wear a tight spandex dominatrix outfit and actually gonna give it all in an intense dramatic role, I mean who wouldn't want that?

I can think of one word to describe this film: sad. While watching it, you immediately get the sad, melancholic and depressing mood that has beset this film and you won't find yourself amused throughout the duration of the film. The story is tragic and heartbreaking, that was already established in the novel. Top to that you have David Gordon Green's sensational screenplay transition and the leads' immense acting and you get leaking tear ducts. This film is a study of character and relationship from start to finish. What happens in the beginning of the second act will be an essential plot device to the film which will lead to the most tragic, depressing climax ever.

David Gordon Green's sensational screenplay already merits a high rating to me but the beauty of the film doesn't stop there. The acting from leads Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell can only be described as intense. Sam Rockwell, who continues to impress the audience with his underrated performances in his previous films does it yet again in Snow Angels as unstable ex-husband to Kate's character Annie. This dude really got the acting chops in his blood and only a few people actually recognizes this force of nature. I just hope that his upcoming film Choke will finally earn him some of those gold shiny bald trophies. Kate Beckinsale on the other hand, with the absence of the dominatrix outfit, surprisingly gets the job done here. She nails the role from start to finish and I think this is her best work she's ever done. An impressive 180-degree turn for her as an actress and I really do hope she won't quit making intense drama epics like these.

Snow Angels is a story so sad you will lose your appetite for popcorn. So I suggest instead of popcorn & drinks, you bring a handkerchief and a bucket so you can cry your hearts out.
