Vicky Cristina Barcelona
by DanielVCB is a sharp, sexy and enchanting movie that turns around the idea that only what is incomplete can remain romantic, and it's a film that shows us Woody still has a little gas left in the tank.
Despite Scarlett Johansson, the acting was very good, and Penelope Cruz's strong performance - ranging from sweet to sexy-as-hell to desperate to psychotic, and hitting all points in between - more than made up for what Johansson lacks (which, more and more, I'm starting to think is called "talent"). In a role that was a complete transformation from his (North American) breakout role in No Country For Old Men, Javier Bardem was very good, and relative newcomer Rebecca Hall capably ran with the big dogs. A bit of a slow-starter, at first the narration is grating, but as the film goes on, the little bit that it does use becomes absolutely indispensable. The "Americans in Europe" jokes are particularly good too - all in all, it's an excellent little diversion from a waning American master that, if not seen in theatre, definitely makes for a good rental.Check it out, Woody's back!

I recommend you see...This hilarious James Bond inspired farce was a favorite of mine growing up. Richard Grieco was at the hight of his career then. I haven't seen it in years. But I remember the Rambo scene with the French teacher... it was so funny.

The Wizard
by AngelIt brings back memories of playing the original nintendo system; of blowing on the video cassette when it got messed up or pushing the power button until it worked and playing Duck Hunt, Mario Bros., Double Dragon and other 2D games of that era.
If you were born in the 80s or were around in the 80s then you must remember this. It was about a boy (Fred Savage) who takes his little brother on a cross country trip to play in a video game competition.
