Megan S (purplemegan)

At first I thought this movie would be stupid. But then I thought it might be funny. Well it was somewhere in the middle, cute, but also forgettable. I thought that it was a lot like Home Alone in the mall (but a lot less funny, maybe like Home Alone 3, which I have unfortunately seen).

I should pay more attention to running times before I just get random movies from Netflix. Even though it was 3 hours long, it was enjoyable for the most part. There were a few times when I got a little bored, but it held my attention. I really like those movies where everyone is interconnected.

I really enjoyed this one. I loved the disconnected way that the story was told and how the holes were filled in along the way. I loved the colors that were used in the filming as well. Everytime I watch I realize something else about the story.

I don't usually like anime but I was hooked the first time I saw this movie. It's just such a cute story. I love the little dust balls that move the coal and Chichiro's little sidekicks.
