Flickan som lekte med elden (The Girl Who Played with Fire) - Unrated Almost as good as the first one but still a really good movie. This time you get a little bit more information about the cool Lisbeth Salander and the focus is on her. More action in this sequel and I looking forward to number 3. December 30, 2009

Man Som Hatar Kvinnor (Millenium: Part 1 - Men Who Hate Women) (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) - Unrated This time I´m pretty sad that I have read all the books about Millenium, because the movie should be so much better and so much more exciting if I haven´t read them. The movie is allmost a copy of the book which usually isn´t the case. The characters in the books are even they much like the picture I was made up in my mind how the should look like, the are perfect in the movie. A big plus for Noomi Rapace, she is great. Enjoy a good swedish thriller/action movie. December 30, 2009

The International - R A well-written thriller with good actors. A movie with a starring which goes like a rollercost, some slow scenes mixed with scenes in high tempo. Can´t give a higher rate because the ending was´n´t in my taste and I missed the tension. December 30, 2009

Gran Torino - R One of top five this year, a really great movie! Clint Eastwood is superb as the grumpy Walt Kowalski who lives in, not the best neighbourhood. He is rather bitter and has nothing over for anyone else. In the beginning of the movie I thought it was about the gangs and there fight to get rid of Walt and there sholud be a lot of action and shooting -scenes but I was wrong. The movie has so much besides that, filled with love and drama. Make you self a favour, go and see this movie. December 30, 2009

Where the Wild Things Are - PG A really diffrent movie. I have read the children's picture book when I was a child and it was funny to see all the characters again. I just remeber a few parts from the book so I can´t compare the two. A sweet story but diffrent, enjoy. December 27, 2009

The Proposal - PG-13 Just another "feel-good-movie" with nothing special to write about. December 27, 2009

Up - PG The Pixar productions is great as usual, so well-made and the movies takes your breath away. In this one maybe the story isn´t the best but that´s not why I watch it, I like these animations and I am so impressed by the good work. Up has some really cool and funny moments and it´s great for the whole family. Just enjoy! October 26, 2009

GSI - Gruppen för särskilda insatser (Johan Falk - Gruppen för särskilda insatser) - R I had no expectations on this movie or any other in this "Johan Falk" series, but I find this one really OK. Nice script, some nice scenes and many famous actors makes a good mixture. Not a Hollywood production and you can se in a few scenes that the budget isn´t the same but they made a good police-thriller at all events. Looking forward to follow Johan Falk´s career. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (Ice Age 3) - PG Worse then the first one but better then nr 2. Lovely made and I really like this animated movies. The Ice age movies is so charmfull and easy to watch and the small things you find in many scenes is so brilliant made. IA3 is good but not a masterpice, but for a IA-fan it's a must to see, enjoy. Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian - PG A decent comedy with a few good effects. Not as good as the first one but worth watching. Ben Stiller is fun as allways but I missed Owen Wilson, his role is to small. Probably a success for the younger audience but not for me. October 9, 2009

Bride Wars - PG Just another boring girl-movie. I thought that these famous actress (like Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway) could do better but I was disappointed. Not a movie to write home about. August 29, 2009

Pink Panther 2 - PG This sequel was much more boring then the first movie about the Pink Panther (when Steve Martin plays Jacques Clouseau). You can´t compare this ones with the earlier movies with Peter Sellers, the are so much funnier and more brilliant. PP2 feels like a comedy for the youngest with really cheap jokes and a predictable story. The movie worked it self up to two stars in rating just because my cohab laught a couple of times, not me. Confessions of a Shopaholic - PG Isla Fisher is sometimes quite funny in this comedy for girls. She has talent and suits perfect for the role as a shopaholic with a lots of problems. I didn´t like it so much but as a timekiller on a rainy day and if you are a girl, maybe. August 24, 2009

Fanboys - PG-13 I´m a fan of Star Wars but not of this movie. Nothing funny in this "not-a-good-story" -movie, almost embarrassing. August 15, 2009

The Hangover - R I thought this comedy should be much funnier, I´ve heard lots of good things about it but it fall flop and just get a decent rate. What I liked about the movie was that it hasn´t got so many "American pie"-jokes, jokes under the belt, more grown -up humour which Ilike. I allso liked Zach Galifianakis, he was pretty funny and that the story and ending was well-written. August 6, 2009

Kenny Begins - Unrated A pretty childish movie but with a few scenes and jokes I liked. Some ironic scenes, they joking with other more famous movies and that´s always fun to watch. Can´t write so much more about it, just a movie among other B-movies in this genre. August 3, 2009

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - PG-13 A really great drama with lots of good ingredients that a movie in this genre have to have. The story is so cool, wellwritten and so crazy so you wonder if the writer to the script is a genius or a loonitick. Brad is great and Cate makes her part, but the other actors/actress (some really odd characters in the movie) was the big attraction. The journey you make in two and a half hour has some similarities with Forrest Gump but the reverse way. Have to say that the ending is a teardripper too. July 26, 2009

Duplicity - PG-13 This movie was just OK for me, a little bit to complicated story, I had hard to follow. Julia, Clive and Tom makes a good job but they couldn´t save a higher rate because the story. However there was some nice scenes and I love the twist in the end. But it all felt like a mix of Mr and Mrs Smith and Ocean´s eleven. July 26, 2009

Saw V - R Another discusting and bloody first scene starts this movie. Like Saw IV much of the movie has many "splatter-like" scenes and I wonder if the point is to start with some thing nasty so the movies get much publicity "ohh people ran out of the cinema after 10 minutes.."). Saw V was however better the Saw IV beacuse the story was much better and you get some answers which was unanswered from the other movies, it was any flashbacks from the earlier movies. Still the first movie is in a class of it owns but the sequels is a must to see. July 21, 2009

Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans - R Part three of the war between vampires and werewolves and it was almost so good as part one and part two. More focus on the romance between Lucian and Sonja which brings down the rating, I like more action in this kind of movies. Still there were some really cool scenes and some great effects mixed with a high tempo. The last fightingscene was superb and overall a decent movie. I'm looking forward to see part four, because after that ending it has to be another one. July 19, 2009

The Wrestler - R Mickey Rourke is not one of my fav actors but after this movie I'm ready to change opinion, he is so great (not so strange that he got an Oscar for his performance). The movie has many cool wrestlingscenes but also some sentimental ones which make a perfect mix. After halfway into the movie you could guess how it should end, but that's not a problem because the story is so well told and I enjoyed it very much. July 8, 2009

Surfer, Dude - R WARNING! a really bad movie, can't even waste my time to write about it. Just don't see it! July 6, 2009

Pride and Glory - R Just another police/crime movie with good actors. I've seen a bunch of this type of movies and this one is only one among others, nothing more nothing less. Movies about corruption within the police-system is pretty common and they works OK for me, but they all use to end the same. Pride and glory has a few strong scenes were you react (the scene with the flat iron for example) and has much of the focus on enotions and relations in the families. July 6, 2009

Angels & Demons - PG-13 The movies about Robert Langdon (based on the books of Dan Brown) is really watchable, Da Vinchi code was better then Angels and Demons but A&D was still good. The book which I have read was much better but it used to be so. Nice tempo, fine views over Rome and great acting by Tom Hanks but I missed the tension because I knew what's going to happened (I had read the book you know). July 2, 2009

Changeling - R Nice flick this one! Started up like a slow drama but became a really good thriller. A movie about a mothers worst nightmare, to lose her child. The story is based on a true story and take place in LA in the late 20's. Knowing that the most of the story is true made me a little bit angry over the corrupt policesystem (LAPD) and that's made the watching even better. Clint Eastwood was the director (made a good work) and good performance by the lovely Angelina Jolie and the cool John Malkovich. July 2, 2009
