Rumba - Unrated What makes this movie unique can also be considered as a problem: it's a slapstick comedy with some original and funny scenes and unlike other slapstick comedies, it has real characters and as the story goes, really bad things happen to these characters and you feel for them, you feel uncomfortable to laugh when a handicaped woman falls down or their house burn or they get beaten for bread.

Abel, Gordon and Romy, the writer-director-actor trio, did a very good job coming up with ideas and executing them, they are probably good friends, you can see the sincerity, the passion and the love in this little movie they made together.

Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian - PG It was fun. I had a hard time following the plot (not that there was one!) because I was too busy admiring Amy Adam's beauty!! November 29, 2009

Twilight - PG-13 With the new one coming soon, I thought I'd give this a chance and see what the hype was all about. Just what I was expecting; another teenage romance with lots of cliches and with a vampire story on the background. But it's not too bad if you keep your expectations low. If you want to see a really original vampire/teen movie, check out "Let The Right One In".

Catherine Hardwicke was a bad choice to direct this. I didn't read the books but the film could be made much more darker and it could also use better special effects and some intentional humor.

The Nuremberg Epilogue (Epilog norymberski) - Unrated Tom Tykwer's short gives you some tips about his style, his brave camera-work that made him one of the most favoured directors of today. The story, while having some leads on Run Lola Run's variant storyline, is just an excuse for him to move his camera. November 15, 2009

Copy Shop - Unrated Creative short about the monotony of everyday and everyman. A man who works at a copy shop copies his hand one day and the machine goes crazy after that. You have to respect the work the director must have put in to make this great little short. November 15, 2009

Valgaften, (Election Night ) - PG Great short by Anders Thomas Jensen. It's the election night and Peter, a responsible man, forgets to vote. Now he has very little time to vote, he starts to run to make it while running away from all the racism around him. Darkly funny and ironic as all of Jensen's following feature films. The song used at the end credits put a smile on my face for a long time. November 11, 2009
